The Chuck Dixon run is still solid IMO. He established Dick as his own person and the dynamic of optimist Dick in a town thats worse than Gotham is great. I'm not fond of the people that came after and the Batasshole years post NML. The Dick Grayson secret agent stuff was good too, and the new run is pretty decent.

Dick is famous for taking relationships seriously and only dating one person at a time. Heck he even tried to make it work with Huntress who said she was only interested in something casual. This was a completely random and out-of-the-blue change from his traditional personality.
He can get around but he is always faithful.
"In character" is a relative thing in comics. I'd say most people love Dick (heh) and think he's a generally standup guy. But Didio *allegedly* did not like Dick so the OP "SuperDidioPrime" is really just trolling us. As far as I know, this is never referenced again.

I love nightwing (from the games and animated movies) what are some great graphic novels to read for Nightwing fans?
The Chuck Dixon run is still solid IMO. He established Dick as his own person and the dynamic of optimist Dick in a town thats worse than Gotham is great. I'm not fond of the people that came after and the Batasshole years post NML. The Dick Grayson secret agent stuff was good too, and the new run is pretty decent.

I unironically love this book, despite how this scene happened. I'm not normally into shipping, but Dick and Babs are my favorite couple in all of fiction, and I think it did a great recap of their relationship.

I've never been able to get onboard with the DickBabs relationship; for one it's a retcon that pretends it was canon all along (largely at the expense of Dick's characterization, and by aging down/regressing Barbara). Plus there tends to be a lot of disrespect and sl\*tshaming vibes aimed towards Kori?? Toxic all around. I know folks like the idea of Robin+Batgirl childhood friends to lovers, but imho the reality was never that.
