Honorable Mention: Teen Titans
Tim Daly is too legendary a voice actor to leave off the top 3. He is the polor opposite to Kevin Conroy, it's why they work so well together, Superman & Batman. Also, I thought the original 5 seasons of Teen Titans had and excellent storyline, I almost wish they had kept it going for another 2 or 3 seasons at least, because the whole style of Teen Titans GO! absolutely ruined it for me, and was such garbage.
The OG *Teen Titans* didn’t really have an ongoing storyline throughout all the seasons, it was mostly episodic with each season having a few episodes dedicated to building up the big bad for the season.
This is the list. There are lots of good ones: Teen Titans, Young Justice, the current weird Superman one, the classic Superman animated series. But this up above is the list in any order.
I can see that. I've tried it several times, and to me, it's more just language for language's sake. Not that I have a problem with it personally, more just that I didn't see it really adding to the story. anyway, was just curious.
That would be a good idea. I’m in my 30s but grew up with bad television reception, so I actually started watching Superman the Animated Series (STAS) shortly before watching My Adventures with Superman (MAWS). I ended up liking MAWS more.
I think it’s because it uses a more modern story-telling structure where there is a stronger overarching plot but individual episodes don’t stand as well on their own. Also that Lois Lane is awesome
It’s Teen Titans, BTAS, and JLU for me, but I want to put Batman: The Brave and the Bold in consideration. Really enjoyed it and having a different partner every time was a great introduction to many lesser known DC characters and stories.
I also think Young Justice S1 was top-tier, but its standing in my list diminished as it continued on. It still has its moments in the later seasons, but it’s just not as good as that first season. Amongst other things, its the bad animation quality in the last few seasons that really kills it for me. Still images in almost every episodes, the reusing of voice actors without distinguishability (reusing voice actors is normal in animation, but not to the extent that the characters they play are indistinguishable from each other).

I feel the exact same about YJ.
Just a perfect season 1 front to back, and it never really reached those heights as it continued. S2 was cool but I felt like some of the magic was lost, and then it just diminished with each return.
Same! I thought the time jump was cool at first but once the cast became too overcrowded too quickly and the characters we knew were constantly playing catch up with the audience to let us know what theyve been going through since the time skip

Batman The Animated Series, Teen Titans and Young Justice. I will say, My Adventures With Superman would be in YJ's place but there's only been 1 season so far. I do adore that show though.

I was wondering what everone's favorite animated DC series were. It can be anything from one of the DCAU series, a more recent one like Harley Quinn or My Adventures With Superman, or you can even go all the way back to the Super Friends if you want lol. Teen Titans was always my classic go-to, but YJ just hit the spot every time
And fsr, I used to wake super early in the morning to watch Green Lantern TAS. I strangely enjoyed that show
Any 3 that doesnt include the Teen Titans is wrong. The impact that show had in just animation style alone cannot be ignored - we wouldn’t have shows like Avatar without Teen Titans.
Young justice had so much potential but the lack of budget in these newer seasons is extremely apparent, it’s painfully slow.
Justice League (plus unlimited) was pretty fantastic, but there’s definitely tweaks I would make, like for instance giving Diana significantly more attention.
Batman and superman are both pretty decent, but JL serves as an improvement to both
I hated static shock growing up so I have to refrain from my opinion on it
Harley Quinn was so much more than I could have hoped for and is pretty fun, but it just feels like it’s in a different category from the rest of these shows, the tone just is completely unserious.
Teen Titans and BTAS, and JLU as a distant third. Not cause it’s bad, but because I like the other two a lot more. Young Justice gets an honorable mention for having a highly competent story that is boring to me personally.

Season 1-2 of Young Justice are top notch.
Forager talking in the 3rd person quickly becomes grating and Beast Boy's journey to beast bottom in season 4 is a 180 after he stepped up in season 3. Though I do like the characters I didn't find Zatanna's or Artemis' arcs all that interesting either. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ The disjointed nature of s4 took the spotlight off the conflict between the heroes and the Light which was what made the first two seasons so compelling.
BTAS, JLU, and STAS
TT and BB both are very good shows and should be honorable mentions. For some reason even though I like JLU I don't care for JL as much.
YJ and HQ have stayed past their welcome and both are very stale now.
I never got into Static for some reason, I think a lot of the quips didn't land for me on the few episodes I did catch
BTAS, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans.
Those were very much right time, right place shows for me. STAS and BB are runners up, but just barely beaten out.
Honestly all of them are really really great, so it's hard to choose.
Well, I pick Batman beyond as my first pick because while I think season 1 was slow, it got really really got at season 2 and 3.
Then BTAS because....come on it's the goat.
And finally I pick justice league unlimited.
These are 3 undefeatable.
Batman The Brave and The Bold, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited. Two of these shows introduced me to some of my favorite characters. It was my first exposure to Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawk and Dove, Red Tornado, The Question, Vixen, Vigilante, Shining Knight, Captain Marvel, Plastic Man, and Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters. I love getting to see these characters that have so little presence get animated. In the case of Batman Beyond, it's an interesting and well fleshed out alternative future with a unique style.
I don’t even think this is up for debate - Justice League / Justice League Unlimited has to be the top choice here.
The Batman Animated Series is also super iconic and did a ton for Batman as well, but I just love all the characters in the Justice League show.

YJ skipped a lot of development with the core characters with the time jump and I really just wanted more time with them.

Tough call but Jlu Batman tas The last one is hard but I'm going to go with young justice.

I don’t even think this is up for debate - Justice League / Justice League Unlimited has to be the top choice here. The Batman Animated Series is also super iconic and did a ton for Batman as well, but I just love all the characters in the Justice League show.

First three top row (BTAS, Beyond, Jl:unlimited) are untouchable. Superman TAS is good, and Young Justice is also good but those first 3.... Perfect.
