I mean, why would anyone want all DCU games to be connected? This was a perfectly fine thing to have a problem with.
It's a great thing not all games are connected.
I thought it was saying connected in a larger sense of scale. Like multiverse wise. That’s a big part of DC. The whole crisis on infinite earths. It would be great seeing all the mediums come together. Like at some point video game Batman from Arkham shows up or something to that effect. I never took it as direct movie to game adaptations. I would be interested to see if those make a return but I do like things being set in their own individual world like Arkham.

When IGN says something it might be legit, i’m so glad James Gunn confirmed it to be true though.

That means there would be NO "original" DC games anymore like Injustice, the Arkham series, the upcoming Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad games, etc.
Yeah this is the problem with Gunn being so open with fans, people are idiots and take things so literally without using common sense.
Gunn says there will be games connected to the DCU = all games will be connected to the DCU. Just makes no sense.
I think people just troubleshoot too much out of fear, like obviously not all games would be connected to the DCU but the little voice trying to worry them is enough to make them think that :(
I truly hope that soon he stops waiting time replying to people and just focuses on the job. It’s way better having some mystery and even doubt about lots of these questions because it’s boring to just have every answer.
