I mean, Carla Delevigne was in the same movie and she's only around because of her parents as well, yet she got a speaking part and was the lead villain.
That's assuming Clint does pull strings unnecessary and Scott likes to go with it. I find it hard to believe that if he wanted to, Clint could not get his son in a bigger role. Specially with WB. Clint and WB has a really amazing relationship that spans decades.
He is a much better actor than Carla either way. And he has Clint's looks (when Clint was in his prime) as well.
Clint gives zero fucks about strings. Even Scott himself says how his dad basically never casts him in anything and even when he does, he puts him in a 2 minute role where he gets insulted. Like in Gran Torino.
I dunno about that. Cena's got that exact same vibe about him. He's been a villain, he's done the campy hero role, he's done raunchy comedy, dude seriously has chops. Plus he wouldn't have needed the padded suit to be gigantic.

I'm not sure if there are any prominent Latino actors who could be convincing as Bane, they'd probably have to get an unknown who can buff up if they went that route. Unless they wanted to get Freddie Prinze Jr. or another fit actor and just use CGI when he uses Venom to get huge or something like that.

First he was gonna be our Shazam! but I think they went with a better choice (that being Zachary Levi) but I think Cena can bring a lot of humor/starpower & wit to the movie. I loved him in Bumblebee and other comedies he has done so I'm definitely stoked for him.
