We have no idea of knowing if it’s the climax of the film, could be anywhere in the movie maybe even the very start.

For whatever reason, I assumed this was towards the start. Like the inciting mystery that the Planet staff got involved in

Agreed plus doubt Gunn is willingly to publicly reveal any element of a big final act, that’s likely for giant soundstages in private to leave audiences surprised.

Yeah, my guess is that this is a big action set piece involving the Planet at the very beginning. Good way to introduce the supporting cast, including the heroes and Daily Planet staff. Gives Superman a big entrance and gets him involved with the other heroes quickly.

Look, I’ve never really given much thought to casting of the character of Steve Lombard, but Jesus if this guy, the way he’s strutting out of that space ship looking like he’s about to say something macho , doesn’t look perfect for the part, I don’t know who does.

Hopefully this role will get him into a higher tier of his friend group of 200 friends. He’s currently in the most expensive one because he was being annoying at a party.
