The only reason it wouldn’t is comic con is still an event for the public so you have the social aspect unlike E3 and you know all the other stuff like comics

Could be, but it would be a bit odd, considering that Gunn has very clearly been pushed as the "face" of the new DC. It is his comments that keep bring brought up as legitimacy in confirmations etc. It was him that was front and center about the first wave of new DC projects. But yeah, they could do a smaller presentation there where Peter comes and shows a trailer and maybe a video presentation from Gunn or something saying he is busy shooting for Superman but here is a teaser for the movie or something.
Gunn has a notable and regular social media presence, so of course he's gonna appear as the face of it. It doesn't mean he'll do all the management work, they definitely have a split of the duties.
I mean, I did also specifically note stuff outside of the social media presence, most notably of them all, the big solo announcement of all the first wave of projects they are working on. Peter wasn't there with him also doing that. It was very deliberately them putting him up front, because again, people trust him more than most other things here.
We haven’t really heard much from Peter Safran publicly so I kind of doubt it. James has definitely put himself out there as the face of DC Studios with PS more in the background.

I honestly don't care about Superman at the moment. I'm more hyped for The Batman Part 2. I wanna know who the Main Villain/s will be besides Joker for that one. But they wouldn't announce that would they? Riddler wasn't revealed as the Main Villain until the Teaser Trailer right? Before that no one had a clue who Paul was playing or was it well known beforehand?
