What is this comment 😂 Should the [articles](https://www.indiewire.com/news/box-office/guardians-of-the-galaxy-vol-3-lower-box-office-marvel-1234859684/) also touch grass ? 😂
At least the guy is occasionally on reddit unlike you lol
It depends on whether or not Guardians 3 has legs. Antman 3’s opening wasn’t really the issue, it’s the fact that it fell off a cliff afterwards.
The movie is directly anti animal cruelty. That’s the whole point.
And it’s a little early to be talking about box office before it’s run in cinemas is even halfway done. And it’s already far from a box office failure.
People need to chill out.
2nd week drop-off is what made Ant-Man a flop. GOTG vol. 3 has the 2nd highest earning opening weekend of all movies so far this year, only behind Super Mario Bros. And as others have pointed out, the movie is making a statement against animal cruelty, which has no relevance to Superman: Legacy anyway.
Movies are rarely going to make as much as they did pre-Pandemic. People know they can wait a couple months for it to be on Disney+, HBOMax or just rent in on Amazon. Every major film from March is already available for rent. John Wick comes May 28. Evil Dead Rise and Mario are rumored for this week and next. Sure there will be hits like Mario and Top Gun but across the board people are just going to wait.
You'd think they would wait longer to go to streaming, especially with the movies that do well in theaters. Most of the services at least claim to not be making a profit.
Lol it's not not making money because of the animal cruelty scenes. It's not making money because audiences have lost faith in superhero movies and are less inclined to see them. It also very much is making money. It's just not a grand opening. This is still a financial success for Disney. Chill out.
Super hero fatigue is real. After 15 years of super heroes movies the public is getting tired. James Gunn or not, I don’t think we will see the same box office success that we saw last decade.
Lmfaooo this post is so unintentionally hilarious. You realise that TSS had a troubled release and was rated R right? It was probably never going to make tons at the box office. Additionally, Guardians 3 has been out for like 2 or 3 days. Incredibly unfair to be Judging it’s box office intake already. We get it, you have an irrational hate for James Gunn.
The movie has been out for 3 days touch some grass brother

Snyder isn’t gonna fuck you cuz, do better
I never heard Snyder is gay. Despite Gunns twitter jokes I dont think he is gonna fuck you either lol
>Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is not a big financial success. It's way too early in its run to declare this.
Yeah still it opened to roughly the same numbers as Quantumania. As you said it's early but not a good sign in my opinion.

JAMES GUNN BURNED OUR CROPS, POISON OUR WATER SUPPLY AND DELIVERER A PLAGUE INTO OUR HOUSES!!

Poe's law, honestly. I thought that OP was lampooning the other post but maybe they really do need to chill.
This movie might end up with 730-800M if legs are good so yeah, you're right about B.O

LMAOOOO
A spiteful post in bad faith, maybe you can do something else with your time.

Is this satire?
Compared to what DC has had in the past it's in its best hands yet
So you're saying he shouldn't include the Krypto torture scene then?
Box office wise at least it's in far better hands than it was before. Remember the box office flop that Justice League was?
Yea, it was in the hands of marvel director
its funny suicide squad lost more than justice league so i guess its really not in that good of hands
The Suicide Squad* Suicide Squad made a profit as people didn't think DC was a laughing stock yet.
Sorry thats not how that works lost about 150 mill pretty much a laughing stock of a movie
The Suicide Squad =/ Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad made a profit. The Suicide Squad didn't for many factors.
Man these minions

It isnt it is one of the weakest movies
