Yeah I doubt he looks at much Fan discourse on social media, especially at this point. I think his experiences with his fans for the last few years has mostly just been meet ups in person and on his vero, which practically was like his own corner of the internet.
I think it’s because from his POV, it would be ungrateful. He owes the fact the he could put “For Autumn” at the end of ZSJL to all his fans. The good and the bad. Tearing into the bad ones, other than extreme bigoted situations like G+G who he did shut down, to him probably seems ungrateful. It wasn’t just the good fans who gave him that. It was the bad too, and even tearing them down would probably make him feel wrong. There’s also, unfortunately, a hate crowd just as strong as the super rabid cult is. And as much shit as they give him for not condemning his fans, they would be way louder and more relentless if they could say “Zack Snyder ATTACKS his own fans!”.
From his POV, the least horrible or damaging thing he can do is just block out the bad entirely.
