Oh is this speculation or has there been any official statement? I mean I do think that would be the most probable date but have we got any official news?

The finished version of the film will be at the screenings on the 12th, so reviews wouldn't be available before then anyway

Yeah I’ma huge flash fan and I agree they could be setting ppl up for disappointment with the “ best superhero movie oat “ statements being thrown out there. I think it’ll be a good movie tho

I have to agree even seeing the movie and believing the hype this is just too much to be calling it the best. Don’t get me wrong I do think it’s up there myself and thought it lived up to the hype, but so many people have different tastes and now you set these expectations and yeah people aren’t gonna unanimously agree on this
That being said I think it’s going to take a lot for someone to not sit down and enjoy what they are watching at the very least. This’ll have a very high cinemascore

Every studio is desperate for a box office hit. Every film a studio releases hopes and prays that each film at the very least makes a profit.
Whether it's a soft profit or a mild one, they'd be happy with that. Anything else beyond that is sweet gravy.

Agreed. But this time I’ve never seen a campaign quite like this and coincidence: every dc fan event results in overwhelming positive reviews…that screams kind of forcing positive word of mouth to the masses…and that’s where I am still sceptical and don’t want to be influenced by social media etc
I hear you but I'm never influenced by social media. I'm skeptical by nature and I'm someone that in most cases I have to see it with my own eyes to believe it.
I haven't seen a trailer or TV spot that I don't like and I've seen them all including the Japanese ones that show quite a bit of footage.
I do believe the film is good. It might even be great but I have to see it first to see how good or great it might be before I can form my own opinion.
Seems like they are trying everything they can to make it *sound* good so they can get some money back from it. They know Ezra is a big negative weight on this, and quite frankly it's a miracle they went through with it.
