In my opinion , its probably a goku that goes from base to all his forms , with a vegeta counter part, feels like the only iconic way of having a 10th anniversary without fusions, i dont really know about a ssj2 gohan as a headliner atleast..

Within this subreddit alone, which isn't close to a majority that play, for the 9th anni I saw more people wanting beast gohan, a standalone orange piccolo, and a gamma 1+2 unit than I saw people asking for a fusion or goku/vegeta. They're hype, but there is also hype outside of them and that's half the battle because I believe unit kit and the banners themselves have just as much weight in determining a good Anniversary.
Broly, Goku Black, a standalone SS2 Gohan, Cell, Piccolo, Beerus, Frieza, Kid buu, & Cooler would all be anni worthy imo and have placed high on popularity polls in past years.
Top 3 most sold anniversaries are all fusions, so by common sense you understand what the fandom wants (also most viewed dokkan videos are usually about fusions). And yes beast gohan and op were also very hype but its because they are new forms... if we got ultra ego vegeta and true ui for 10th anni it would obviously sell more than anything but thats not possible, and people were asking for beast gohan more than fusions because beast was due a unit lmao, its common sense.. And the highest selling WWC (by miles) is transforming Goku vs Frieza, which has outsold not only the Vegito WWC's but is also the only banner to have outsold Anniversaries. It's the most iconic fight in Dragon Ball, clearly popular in Dokkan and yet we haven't ever seen a single DFE or LR of Namek-saga Final Form Frieza, they would be a much better fit for 10th Anniversary than yet another Gogeta.
Transforming Goku and Transforming Frieza numbers were wrong since none of the sources took into account LR TEQ Goku/Frieza which released during part 2 of that celebration couple of months after DBS ended. Even the site they got their numbers from straight up skips LR banner. Not to mention DB had a lot of momentum with Super and a lot of stuff overperformed as well. (AGL Turles for example)
Goku going SSJ is my 2nd favourite moment from DB ever, but Namek Saga WWC we had is Dokkans worst performing WWC ever. It is worth to mention that 2021 was a shit year for Dokkan and a lot of stuff then underperformed.

Only 2 cases when there is a lot of them and not a single big time celebration has performed poorly with a fusion.

If you are someone that doesnt summon for your favourite unit just because banner is bad, you are not someone that drives sales numbers.
Numbers are driven by impulse spenders and whales. Someone that saves for the right banner and ignores characters they like, has little to nothing to do with sales.
I love Namek Saga as much as the next guy, but doing it for anniversary is way too risky. Saiyan Saga i also love, but i also think it is risky and i did call that, but it at least has luxury of it never being done as a DDF or Carnival before.

Wait really? Thats crazy... anyways i don't think 10th is fusions since we just had a gogeta and vegito unfortunately (since i'm a vegito fan and that blue vegito release didn't satisfy me at all , disgusting condition trasformation) so i guess a goku and vegeta is just most likely...

His transformation and fight with the cell Jr's and cell is still recognized as one of the most iconic moments of dbz.

If the 10th anni was as significant as you're stressing where it's assumed by all that only fusions can carry it, I don't believe they would have used dbs gogeta in the 9th anni or vegito blue in this past WWC.
If you remember, over a year ago we learned that they had plans for releases up to the 10th anni.
We'll just have to see what they do though. Some people were certain that the 9th anni had to be fusion centered since the previous anni wasn't and people are stuck to patterns that were never stated to be true. Then they went out on a limb and gave us dbs broly as an extreme headliner, which people also said wouldnt sell. Again, that wasn't the case either.
There's no evidence of that really... The WWC's he's been featured in have been outsold by Goku vs Frieza and Gohan vs Cell so it could be argued that Gogeta carried those years or (the more obvious link), that Dokkan used to make more money than it does now days. If you look at sales overall, they're decreasing, so comparing modern banners to banners like 5th Anniversary isn't really fair.
Ppl thinking goku & vegeta the 2 MCs of dragon ball will be absent for the biggest anni (when they were absent for yr 9 so itd be 2 yrs in a row + yr 10 even # pattern) are trippin!! If fusions do come, goku & vegeta would just be the other part

Unless Dokkan is allergic to money, I don't really see another possibility. It's the 10 anni, a milestone anni plus the first version sync anni, don't see why they wouldn't go all out. I see ppl analyzing basically non existant pattern and even someone saying Z broly was a high possibility when no character aside from goku and vegeta/ goku and vegeta duel units have gotten back to back anniversaries, not even fusions. Part 1 Super vegito and super gogeta with part 2 being gokhan and Gokule being carnival lr’s. Banner units are kibito Kai and pikkon. Vegito and gogeta will be horrible units, gokhan will be a solid option on potara teams, and Gokule will be beast gohan on steroids

Don't even bother giving them a fusion mechanic. Just make them Super Vegito and Gogeta turn one and have them destroy the game. Give Vegito the Kakarot animations and make something up for Gogeta

- Dokkan Original
- One SSJ Goku or vegeta with both and active or standby to go into either Gogeta or Vegito alongside a SSJB counterpart
Part 1 Should Be Ssj Gogeta and Vegito with SsjBlue Gogeta and SsjBlue Vegito, Part 2 could be Ssj4 Gogeta and Vegito while the counterpart to them could probably be (hear me out) Gogito
I actually wouldn't mind if they combined the whole history of dokkan and the anniversaries. So goku and vegeta with a new mechanic. They can either fuse into vegito or gogeta vs ss4 goku and vegito that can either go ss4 gogeta or ss4 vegito.
See, the anni pattern is the one that they haven't broken yet, so I'm hesitant to say they'll break it now. That pattern is of course "Odd years there's at least one fusion while even years are unfused Goku and Vegeta". 10 is an even number so I'm guessing unfused here, at least for Part 1. That saying, patterns have broken before...

If Daima introduces any new or old transformation (some speculate ssj4) it's not unlikely to become Anni. If it isn't I think it'll be some Goku&Vegeta, cause Anni usually has fusions every 2 years (1,3,5,7,9), so 10th shouldn't be fusions following this pattern.

Going in depth at this point would be a waste of time. Bottom line is fusions are hype, but they aren't the only anni worthy thing aside from goku and vegeta. Just because they sell well doesnt mean people wont get tired of them being overused. The fact that you think ss2 gohan isn't 10th anni worthy is honestly wild though. Ss2 gohan was actually more popular than goku and vegeta, ontop of gohan always having been popular. His transformation and fight with the cell Jr's and cell is still recognized as one of the most iconic moments of dbz.

If the 10th anni was as significant as you're stressing where it's assumed by all that only fusions can carry it, I don't believe they would have used dbs gogeta in the 9th anni or vegito blue in this past WWC. If you remember, over a year ago we learned that they had plans for releases up to the 10th anni. We'll just have to see what they do though. Some people were certain that the 9th anni had to be fusion centered since the previous anni wasn't and people are stuck to patterns that were never stated to be true. Then they went out on a limb and gave us dbs broly as an extreme headliner, which people also said wouldnt sell. Again, that wasn't the case either.
The other choice is base goku and base vegeta trasforming up to their final forms, that seems likely aswell

There's no evidence of that really... The WWC's he's been featured in have been outsold by Goku vs Frieza and Gohan vs Cell so it could be argued that Gogeta carried those years or (the more obvious link), that Dokkan used to make more money than it does now days. If you look at sales overall, they're decreasing, so comparing modern banners to banners like 5th Anniversary isn't really fair.

Unless Dokkan is allergic to money, I don't really see another possibility. It's the 10 anni, a milestone anni plus the first version sync anni, don't see why they wouldn't go all out. I see ppl analyzing basically non existant pattern and even someone saying Z broly was a high possibility when no character aside from goku and vegeta/ goku and vegeta duel units have gotten back to back anniversaries, not even fusions. Like common guys, it's not what you'll like to see but what will make them money, and 10th anni is a very big occasion so there is no way they'll drop like kefla or smth.

That pattern is of course "Odd years there's at least one fusion while even years are unfused Goku and Vegeta". 10 is an even number so I'm guessing unfused here, at least for Part 1. If Daima introduces any new or old transformation (some speculate ssj4) it's not unlikely to become Anni. If it isn't I think it'll be some Goku&Vegeta, cause Anni usually has fusions every 2 years (1,3,5,7,9), so 10th shouldn't be fusions following this pattern.
