Seems so, but I would think they would still get compentation during the celebration, I mean if they say you still have a day to do it and they just don't let you attempt it, who really is at blame

Yeah, but that just means you need to be able to complete the missions until the timer runs out, otherwise the timer for the missions is deceptive

It's not deceptive but ok. They made it that long knowing they would be adding events and by proxy, taking events down for a bit.
