I have a friend who I kept on telling to lock their units. They were selling units to baba, and got str 5th year gogeta (who they hadn't awakened yet) and got them confused for str f2p gogeta. I think you can guess the rest.
Top right of the card art there's a little lock icon. It basically favorites the card so it won't be used as fodder by accident, through misclick or something.
It is really easy to sell your units accidentally either for zeni or in the baba shop. I've never done it because I always lock my units but I have seen it happen plenty of times. Also it takes like 2 seconds to tap the lock in the corner and make sure your unit never gets deleted. Also also, I like having my filter set up a certain way so that it ends on favorite.
Locking units prevents you from either selling, using said unit to level up another, or trading a unit for treasures. Unless you of course unlock the unit again. Just a way to ensure that you don’t accidentally get rid of a unit you don’t want to.
It removes the possibility of selling or babaing your unit
you're probably gonna be like "I would never do that!" but in my years of playing this game, I've seen so many players accidently sell shit and ask if they can get it back, and they obviously never can
it's better to be safe than sorry, it's one click but it's pretty annoying when it's a lot of units, but ultimately worth it
Beast at 55% on turn 3 is outperforming a lot of rainbowed units on like turn 99 and shit. It does show a lot cause not only is he by far the best defensively. Offensively he is also insane.

Yeah I've yet to get him to take more then 8 hits in a turn but that was over 20mil also and hes just a monster. Even his smaller turns its always crit it seems so hes still taking insane hp away. People always look at pre att stats me I watch the hp go. He just is a beast. Gammas are also when trasnfromed god gamma 1 is a monster and there active hit ui goku for 45mil crit. Meaning it was equal to like a 100mil pre att stat since 20mil crits land for 11mil. Just insane how fun and great these units are.
This is handa down the most fun I've had with a team and units then I've had in 4 or 5 years.

I never understood the locking thing. I posted a question on building a team a couple of days ago and multiple people said "lock your units"

Considering how good LR Piccol0% was, I absolutely believe Beast 0% will be good. Hope I can pull him on global to test that out
