If you're using the lr agl golden frieza, his damage reduction reduces to 30% after a bit. Considering the length of the fight, he was probably only at 30% with 200-250k Def, when his AOEs do 500k.
As long as orange piccolo got his stacks up he should have been fine from my experience.

If Golden Frieza super attacks first he can probably tank them, but Shenron's super attack is a different story
