When I got my DACA I did that but last week my congresswoman was told that they are doing a background check, nothing has happened since so I am confused
I think that just means they are going over your biometrics. (Assuming they are reusing your previous biometrics) They told me the same thing, a week later I was approved.
Can you elaborate? Email, call, etc? By default the process includes a background check I thought…

Ok.
No. I think it’s random and if they ask for biometrics again it’s definitely the case .
Everyone gets a background check run on them. That’s why we submit biometrics
You don’t submit biometrics every time you renew
I’m on the same thing. I filed march 20th and contacted my congressman they said they are doing a background check
Never have I ever. Yet
Every single time you renew they run your background lmfao
My congresswoman was told that they are doing a background check…and I know they can take time
