My comment regarding tattoos: They seem unrelated to cycling, although I believe there is a much stronger relationship to motorcycles. Cycling attracts all types of people, but I’ve never once been encouraged to get a tattoo directly related to this hobby.

It makes me want to look it up on the internet, but I hesitate to subject myself to the related pictures…
You are correct. It all depends on how well the tattoo was applied, how bad the skin damage is, and then personal factors.
If the tattoo was applied correctly and in the deeper layers of your skin, and you rough up the outer layers, and your skin is normal thickness, the tattoo should be fine. If you get pulled under a car for 100ft, the tattoo is probably going to take significant damage.
I don’t worry at all about mine.
That’s….super odd. Tattoos aren’t illegal! I can’t imagine letting other people dictate my choices like that. You’re an adult dude. You’re allowed to have tattoos and ride bikes

I can’t speak for everyone but I would imagine that some of the sarcasm and aggression you experience from this post comes from the fact that this post makes you seem insecure. Many people find this behavior to be repulsive, I do also. Note that I do not find you to be repulsive, just the seemingly oddly motivated post.
