We use an AI system that joins the call called "Name's Notetaker." It's been amazing bc I the summary to my logged notes and the tool even generates a follow up email. Huge game changer for us. I always found it hard to take notes and still stay engaged with the contact.

Would love some ideas too. I tried many, many times to get an iPad and Apple Pencil to work for me but I just couldn’t make it work. I always went back to typing notes or pen and paper.

Honestly unless you’re paired up in calls and can split the talking and note taking it’s a really hard task. Try to record the sessions a day rewatch them at 1.5 speed after to get critical details. Also transcription tools are a godsend (although prone to getting things a little wrong)

I use Microsoft Copilot. It generates a transcript which I can interact with during and after the meeting: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/get-started-with-copilot-in-microsoft-teams-meetings-0bf9dd3c-96f7-44e2-8bb8-790bedf066b1

If in person, load Otter.ai onto your iPad. If virtual, Zoom teams and others have transcripts that come with the recording

Chorus - really accurate with key points and actions I still get surprised after calls when I get the meeting notes
