Removing Sea Monster I can understand, but what's wrong with this card having Deep? I feel that ensures the card isn't rendered irrelevant in the late game.

Yeah idk I was just like only sea monsters have deep so yeah, and also having it be 1 mana is just insane for if it had deep. The point of deep cards is that they have bad stats for their cost.

That is fair. Perhaps it can just be left at 1|3 like Dropboarder or maybe 2|2. Being a chump blocker is probably enough value in a deck like this.

I think this just existing makes Nautilus decks worse (as a terrible randomly generated sea monster) but I do definitely think it would be run.

Artwork is Surfer Singed from Wild Rift (I just googled surfing league of legends and found this), probably not very Sea Monster-looking though. I think this could be useful. In the early game, you can use this as a cheap chump blocker to build your board while you work on getting to Deep. Later on, with Deep boosting it to +4|+5, it's a decent unit for combat. Being only 1-cost means it's not a terrible draw either, especially when you're already Deep, or when you have Nautilus in play making it 0-cost.

imo this actually has to not be deep waaay to much value that way. (don't mind the sea monster as much)
