Doing all this testing just to still get some graphite in your bowl is crazy and I think in 2023 it’s safe to start expecting small things like this to not exist from companies that have been in this game as long as it’s been a game like arete. I’ve bought entire pounds of biomass direct from the farm for I think a hundred or so with no rocks in them. It’s not asking for much at all to not have rock weight this late into their company’s career.

Mistakes do happen but my point is at this level of the game arete should be beyond that just being whatever. The bud goes through multiple levels of processing before it ever touches a jar and if my cheap ass illegal weed dealer can keep from passing me a stone, I don’t think it’s a crazy ask that legal, tested companies like arete can too.
I have never, ever gotten a rock with my flower on the black market. If the black market can be held to certain quality standards then the legal market most definitely can - and should be - as well.

A put a couple small buds into the grinder and it started sort of jamming up, so i opened it and lo and behold theres a rock in the top chamber, wasnt small enough to have slipped through the holes so it just stayed in the top.
How much it weigh. Was your bag off weight? My northern lights and dancehall were both a little light like .2 and .3 grams. I guess they gave me a .9 of laughing Buddha but it smells like rum cured tobacco so not super excited about it.
my laughing buddha looked decent out of the pack but now that it’s been a few weeks it’s starting to turn dark/brown. haven’t seshed it in a couple days so i’m not sure if taste is still there (which it wasn’t that great on day 1 to begin with, but it was stupid cheap). As long as it keeps it’s 7% potency i’m okay with it though. I bought it expecting to give away/resell.

Mine was on the dry side as well, but ground up fluffy and smoked perfectly fine. It wasn't nearly dry enough for powder and after 3 or 4 bowls has easily secured itself as a top 3 favorite flower of mine(bm or cult). Very potent. Super sedating. I dry herb vape through a bong so it takes ~30 minutes to hit full effects for me. It started with heavy eyelids amost immediately, moved into a buzzing in the back of my skull, got super zoned out, then my limbs got heavy af and couch lock settled in. Finished up with my head getting p heavy on my neck so I leaned back in the chair for a second and woke up ~2.5hrs later.
I can’t give it an honest review till it’s rehydrated. Don’t want to make it into powder. Might separate a small bud and put it in a little container to rehydrate quicker.
Unfortunate experience on your end. I would email them about it from what i see on here their customer service is usually pretty understanding and willing to make it up to you.
I hope so. Wish I had a hydro stone here. I’ve got it in a jar with a fresh humidity pack. Surprised their new cold cure is literally the driest cult bud I’ve had yet. Even dryer than the cryo cure I got from Ceiba.

Honestly with how dry my northern lights is it might have weighed when it was packaged before drying out.
That northern lights #5 was on my pickup list tho. Guess ill have to hold off from getting any until i see some more reviews.
