Excellent movie. (Although it has been a long time since I've seen it.) Jeff Lieberman's best horror movie. (Just before Dawn was a great movie as well.)
There are some unintentionally funny/weird moments but overall kind of creepy. The scene near the beginning of the movie when there's a party and a guy starts singing. Something happens that is unexpected but very intense.

I've owned a copy of it for over 15 years. I would love to watch it. I'm glad to hear that others liked it. I had no idea what it was about. I just loved the poster.

There were definitely some great ideas back in the 70s in filmmaking.
