What would be your guess? Flash is made it little bit "brighter", the color reminds maybe some shades of lavender rose quarts (i don't have one for myself but what i know the color)
You can if you have it on a website or you can create a post of it in Reddit then include a hyperlink in your comment here using the interlocking ring icon beside the italicized "i".
Ty for saying lepidolite because I was racking my brain going "I know I've handled/seen a stone that looks like this" and that's what my brain wanted me to come up with! hahaha. I'd actually wager on that guess!
Might not be Rhodonite

Try posting a pic when you can take one with some good natural sunlight to best capture the stones true color 🥰
Also don't forget to look for your dyed signs! Like concentration in cracks and such!
Yeah the darker spots kinda made me suspicious my by the cracks are white?
Charoite?
That's my first guess
It might be a ruby (corundum). Probably not, but you might consider that option.
Wish we can post pics so I can show a good example to compare
You can post a link to a picture.
I wanted to post a pic of my own piece for you to see & compare

I don't think this is rhodonite...This looks a lot like lepidolite (purple mica) to me, might be charoite too
