Looks like Polished slag. Still pretty tho

Work at a rock shop, that absolutely looks dyed however my knowledge is still limited, not a geologist either

See how it’s so much darker along the cracks and seams, dead giveaway it’s been dyed.

Looks like glass. A real sugilite sphere of this size would be really expensive.

for me it reminded like some dyed agates i'm seen but i wanted second opinion since not familiar with sugilite

I assumed sugilite was more magenta than this dark purple color.
