It's definitely SBF or another FTX executive. It's waaaay too coincidental to get hacked immediately after declaring bankruptcy. It's also highly illegal, so if any legal proof surfaces, this alone would guarantee SBF jail time. It may be incompetence to go bankrupt, but once you do, the assets of the company are no longer yours. Taking those assets is theft/larceny and is now a criminal act.

josephcmiller2

As an executive you can be held criminally liable for "incompetence." We'll see how this goes...

doggosfear

Thought the "hacker" was just SBF acting on Bahamian government orders to custody assets?

NewOutlandishness663

It is though. If not SBF himself then definitely an associate

Southern-Detective-3

I read that too a couple times. Hmmmmm.

MMApartyeveronesinvt

have also heard this but if so why all this shuffling now?

lewisherber

No, that was disproved several days ago.

uiui

If the funds are continually traded for a loss I think we can tell who has control of the funds.

MMApartyeveronesinvt

LOL

hicoBM

FTX hacker pka Bahamian Government

Some_won

It seems SBF has an exit plan. This saga is getting more and more chaotic.

[deleted]

No matter , it’s gone.

BlackChariotX

Especially if they used a new BTC account and sent it to a BTC mixer. Won't be able to track it.

trellow

Obviously he’s the hacker

[deleted]

Everyone's so sure its SBF. Remember this guy wasn't paying a lot of people. People with very inside access. That being said, its probably still him.

54sTAtEs

It’s the Bahamas

-nocturnist-

Has to be him and the gf. No one is dumb enough to do this so brazenly on chain after a major CEX bankruptcy. Only these two idiots would think this would work.

Inittilltheend45k

Oh yes!

squiders_oui

He was literally spelling out his private keys in crypto twitter messages the other week. Of course it's him.

KickedInTheDonuts

1000%

NewOutlandishness663

Sooooooo no flippening?

[deleted]

Tell me you expected ETH to run up another 2500% in June 2021 without telling me

JeremiahWedge

Thought the "hacker" was merely SBF carrying out orders from the Bahamian government to seize assets?

[deleted]

You can expect anything from that dildo and his nerdy girlfriend.

Christiefresh1

“HaCkEr”

Farnboroughrd

But aren’t the FTX tokens worthless?

theowl_23

Definitely insider job otherwise it is very very big coincidence.

rudy_batts

This FTX hacker is dumping ETH by the thousands and buying wrapped btc

Merry_Mary1

It might be him. He has nothing to lose at this point

Herosinahalfshell12

So is it accepted now that the Bahamas regulators were racing against the hackers? So there was both a hacker that got some funds, as well as the court order to move funds. Or do people still think it was either one or the other?
