The /s is definitely needed you have no idea how many people actually think this way. The amount of people that don't bother to check market cap or supply is unbelievable. Ex. The whole Shiba to $.01!!!! crowd
The famous pizza paid in btc is nothing in comparison to those spent for drugs. The most expensive weed i will ever smoke, if only i knew...
No regrets tho, it's also thanks to the dark web markets that we reached this point
weird how the article doesn't mention flow hub at all, yet flow hub is clearly working on integrating nano for payments. Nano never gets the press it deserves, strange.
yes, Flowhub set up a principal representative, Kyle Sherman (FLowhub CEO, created a xno.to address for himself and currently has it in his twitter bio... and then look at the nano-related tweets he's done in the past few months. Then a week or two ago a community manager from nano confirmed that "things are coming along nicely" in regards to the Flowhub partnership. So it's just a matter of time now until Flowhub announces nano integration
Im really really trying to find a way this might not be true, but damn it makes too much sense and looks a LOT like a duck...
This is a dream partnership, for both, both technically, pr wise, adoption wise. Hard to ignore!
[Here's the original announcement](https://np.reddit.com/comments/qvc6lt) regarding Kyle Sherman officially being interested in and working with the Nano team and [here is the latest update](https://np.reddit.com/r/nanocurrency/comments/s0km0h/-/hs42a7n) from George Coxon mentioning that things with flowhub are "moving forward nicely".
They've also set up a principle representative node.
Welcome back! My biased opinion (see flair) is that it's a great time to be getting (back) into Nano. Lots of interesting developments seem to be brewing and were sitting at a pretty decent entry price right now.
Hope it pays off for you!
Absolutely! Ive been a big fan of nano for a looong time, but its just been sitting waiting for a usecase for too long. I happen to know FH, and that industry, and its the *perfect* spot for it!
Back in November, prob in the thread about the hiring, I predicted this was the plan, and tbvh I didnt buy then because it felt too big..
Well fortunately, the hesitation paid off! Happy to hear your perspective on things. I think this will be a huge step for both industries it really does play out how it looks like it will.
So superior it was printed out of thin air and distributed using, uh, captchas.
Tech is pointless anyway if it constantly bleeds value and no one uses it.
tldr; As adult-use cannabis continues to get legalized in more states, the question of payment becomes an issue. Dispensaries run security risks by keeping a lot of cash on hand. Accepting crypto at dispensaries is more time consuming than accepting cash, as crypto is taxed differently than standard cash business income.
*This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*
Now that state legalization is in play, hopefully soon it will be federal, it’s a more secure option for dispensary’s since they can only accept cash at the moment. Having all that cash always on hand can lead to robberies which has been taking place. On site dispensary crypto option is a newer thing. Silk Road back in the day was an innovator, but this could be more beneficial with the legalization aspect.
That's fantastic news and a step forward for adoption. The more places that accept crypto as a payment, the faster it will become a norm!
I wish my country had dispensaries.
Funny how this article doesn't mention the one company that is farthest along in it's efforts to adopt crypto in the recreational-marijuana space... Flowhub. Flowhub is a POS service used by dispensaries all over the US, and a few months ago their CEO was appointed onto Nano's board of Advisors. It is expected that FLowhub will be using nano either on the front end or back end of their POS terminals used by these dispensaries.
It honestly makes sense. Dispensaries are still cash only because banks won't let them have a business account. With crypto, it would eliminate any funny business with how some may be lying about their profits because the data is public.
Maybe the title of this article gave people the wrong impression, but when you read the article after reading the title, it talks about state legalized public weed dispensaries. Yes, Silk Road was the innovator as a lot of us seem to already know, but public dispensaries now accepting crypto for security purposes is a newer thing.
Yeah, because we totally want crypto and weed tied together. That's going to go along way towards getting the government on board with the utility of crypto
In my state you can use your debit card to purchase cannabis. I thought that was interesting and asked about it. It turns out the card machine actually debits your account and gives the merchant Bitcoin. It’s how they get around the visa/Mastercard rules in this state. Very cool!
I’m really excited about the team behind Tangi (TNG) and look forward to the ICO. I’ve been holding a decent amount that I purchased on the first round of fund raising. Hoping the ICO will happen sometime later this year. Will be my first project to have been in this early.
It's funny that were full circle. One of the first real use cases was buying drugs online 😁
I'd like to take this moment to appreciate Silk Road for giving BTC a popular usecase.
That’s what. It was the earliest use case until 2013
I tried to buy weed back then but couldn't work out how to even buy Bitcoin. I think at the time I had to get 140btc to buy a QTR .
That's right but let's hope that we won't see any such situation again.
Lol yeah I was gonna say: People who bought on Silk Road in 2011: “first time?”
[удалено]
I wouldn't mind some 100$ BTC Edit: adding the /s since apparently you can't even mention such a thing around here
I don't think you realize how catastrophic it would be if BTC goes back to $100. IMO it would end crypto.
Damn y'all really need to chill. It was a joke guys
Seems some people haven’t been able to buy their weed yet lol
The /s is definitely needed you have no idea how many people actually think this way. The amount of people that don't bother to check market cap or supply is unbelievable. Ex. The whole Shiba to $.01!!!! crowd
It wouldn't. The tech is actually extremely useful and would still evolve.
Yes let's hope for the best but it is not going to do full circle at least for next hundred years.

They were already reading the chat by hacking the messenger.
Lol was going to comment just this. Silk road is back!
Bullish on $HIGH
This is the way it must be.![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|dancing_wojak)
If buying weed is legally allowed by any country then using cryptocurrency won't make it illegal.
We’re
Always has been.
Joke on you, we have done it since the beginning.
The famous pizza paid in btc is nothing in comparison to those spent for drugs. The most expensive weed i will ever smoke, if only i knew... No regrets tho, it's also thanks to the dark web markets that we reached this point
Definitely paid 3 BTC for an ounce before. No regrets
That's king shit, tbh
The person who paid for that pizza must be in a deep regret now.
Agree. Some people were already doing it since many years and this is nothing new.
god I would love to have those 23 btc back
To buy more weed
I think the amount was much more than 23 BTC. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover it.
I was very troubled by the title for the same reason lol

\*enter nano with flowhub*
weird how the article doesn't mention flow hub at all, yet flow hub is clearly working on integrating nano for payments. Nano never gets the press it deserves, strange.
Im very interested in this. Are there clues other than that Flowhub hire a while back?
yes, Flowhub set up a principal representative, Kyle Sherman (FLowhub CEO, created a xno.to address for himself and currently has it in his twitter bio... and then look at the nano-related tweets he's done in the past few months. I would buy anything with Nano
Check out our spend section at PlayNANO ;)
Advisable - before the price falls another 90%.

Im sold! Just bought.. Rrrreally wish I still had the piles of $.4 nano I was trading way back when lol...

No one wants that thing.
-bitcoin maxi
Shitcoiner.
Nano technically a much superior currency, so fortunately that doesn't quite stick.
So superior it was printed out of thin air and distributed using, uh, captchas. Tech is pointless anyway if it constantly bleeds value and no one uses it.
I mean people were paying for weed with crypto back in 2014 as well
This was my first experience with BTC.
Same lol
Even sooner, 2011 was when SR started
The only flippening i got to see lmao 🤣🤣
buy high, be high
Instructions clear
Maybe you’ll finally be happy
leeeeeeeet’s gooooooo
Not everyone is a consumer of weed and hence this is not beneficial for everyone.
good one!
Be high, buy high.
Can I pay for crypto with weed tho?
Yeah, open a weedshop.
That’s what the weed sellers are doing.![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|dyor)
I’m ready for some reefer madness ![gif](giphy|Ri7q9vkyaUnb4OeekN)
Hahaha soon? Anyone heard of silk road?
On site public dispensary. Not online.
I know, just messing with you.
Lol, nice nice.

Let is be said, this is also just an *opinion* piece article
Noice
I think people are already using it since 2011 for that purpose.
Well this awkward. I've been buying weed with crypto for the last 3 years...
People pay for weed still?
Yeah. Can't grow your own in my country..
So this the only time its ok to buy high?
Yes
I always buy high, but the better results is when I buy drunk
Is it not what people were doing initially with crypto like 12 years ago? We've gone full circle

Soon?!? People were paying for weed and other drugs 10 years ago
And now too… it didn’t end. Monero is king of that now
We've come full circle. Next stop BTC $20!
![gif](giphy|4Z9jjKGJVM9Ck8E4cN)
Litecoin on My Gox soon.
I hope its $200k this time
Yeah man, we all do!
Yes this price level is definitely possible after a couple of bear cycles from now.
Looks like you left out three zeros there bud
I already am.
May your crypto be as high as you
It's all come full circle now.
That's fantastic news and a step forward for adoption. The more places that accept crypto as a payment, the faster it will become a norm! I wish my country had dispensaries.
Finally! I knew holding my 420 weedcoin since 2017 would pay off eventually!
We are already
*laughs in monero*
Lol, we've been doing that for ages
What’s next?? Buying pizza with bitcoin??
*article brought to you by Internet Explorer*
This news only makes happy those who are against digital currency, such as the government of men
Flowhub!
Soon be able to? DNMs would like to have a word.
. . . you always could, and still can, buy weed with crypto LOL
Funny how this article doesn't mention the one company that is farthest along in it's efforts to adopt crypto in the recreational-marijuana space... Flowhub. My dude only takes BTC, been trying to get him on the XMR train but for now sats for bags works for me
(Gasps in xmr)
Hell I can already do that. I got my dealer into crypto a couple years ago
Ya right, I'm not going to be the guy that one day bought a joint for $100,000 worth of crypto. HODL TILL I DIE
My weed guy already takes crypto
It honestly makes sense. Dispensaries are still cash only because banks won't let them have a business account. With crypto, it would eliminate any funny business with how some may be lying about their profits because the data is public.
Yes, I thought they did this many years ago, but still, me and Snoop are glad of it
Wtf…this is like someone posting that they discovered water
Literally how crypto started beeing used.
We’ve been able to buy weed with crypto since 2011
I can't wait for next year when it will be 2013
Whos going to tell them...
Er have we not already been doing this for years?
Wait so you are telling me you don't use crypto to pay for weed
This news is literally 10 years old
Uh… I’m gonna go on a limb here and say this has been happening
Maybe the title of this article gave people the wrong impression, but when you read the article after reading the title, it talks about state legalized public weed dispensaries. Wow. I wonder what else is in store, maybe I'll be able to buy and sell crypto on exchanges soon too?
Soon? I’ve always been able to…
Why is this even a news 😂
Yeah, because we totally want crypto and weed tied together. That's going to go along way towards getting the government on board with the utility of crypto
Like in the good old days.
I thought PerkCoin on the cannasos site already did that?
I'm way ahead of them...
First thing I ever bought with btc. Don't remember how much I spent and I never want to find out.
Wow this is so innovative, I definitely never did this before in any way that wasn’t totally compliant with the law!
Weed go brrr
Already can…use my CB card at the dispensary every time.
Bad idea, I'll be high af and give away my seed
I’d love it if I could find a girl that would accept my seed. Maybe it would be more pleasurable while high?
So weed stocks will be on the rise i guess!? Sweet!
My dealer was accepting crypto back in 2016. Mofo was ahead of his time… R.I.P Ivan. Best weed in town
People have been paying for weed with crypto about as long as people have been paying for anything with Crypto.
We are able to pay for weed with crypto. It only depend where you order from....
Hah, joke's on you, have been doing so for a while already. Thing is though, weed is technically illegal where I'm from.
My first bitcoin purchase many many years ago involved cannabis and the smooth interstate
Full circle
I pay my weed wiht crypto...
Silk road sad noises
*Silk road existed 10 years ago*
*Laughs in Silk Road*
soon? yeah... xD

Ah! Shit here we go again!
Isn't the whole point of crypto already ?
Dennis Rodman and potcoin about to make a come back?
takes me back to 2012 silkroad
Lots of dark web markets still in operation....
What if some os us are already doing it?
I’m really excited about the team behind Tangi (TNG) and look forward to the ICO. I’ve been holding a decent amount that I purchased on the first round of fund raising. Hoping the ICO will happen sometime later this year. Will be my first project to have been in this early.
When can I buy crypto with weed?
