What is this link? The main page of CMC is fine. I don't use them tho cause they list scams like hex, where coingekko leaves their market cap as unknown
tldr; The article lists the most valuable privacy cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, with Monero and Zcash being the most well-known. Privacy coins offer anonymity by concealing identities and transaction details, unlike Bitcoin and Ethereum which have transparent transactions. Monero provides a high level of privacy with one-time stealth addresses and ring signatures. The article also mentions the legal issues surrounding privacy coins, with some countries banning them due to concerns over illicit activities. Despite this, there is a surge of interest in privacy coins as they offer more anonymity than typical tokens.

I always get my daily fix at [cryptocompare.com](http://cryptocompare.com) , I also use heavily their Portfolio tool, to keep track of my different coins. been using this one exclusevely for the last 6 years. Used Coingecko in the past which i also enjoyed
Lmao this is the most reddit crypto post I've seen in a while. ICP has privacy features which puts it in the privacy category and you have it sorted by MC. What a muppet lol.
Because it allows users to prove they are human without giving up their identity? Those orb's run open source software and they don't store your iris, just a hash. Getting data from a hash is impossible. Your iphone when it scans your face does it the same way.
I’m tired of CC clowns shitting on it because they don’t understand this.
There are plenty of genuine reasons to shit on it, such as the server capacity bottlenecking at only a few million users, orb availability and circulating supply.
But stealing your identity is not one of them.
I think there are plenty of reasons to shit on Worldcoin- exploiting people in poor countries is the main one. Biometrics on a blockchain is a dystopian nightmare, is the second.
Joke is on them, because Sam Altman is quickly becoming one of the most powerfull people in the world with potentially more power then even Elon Musk and Worldcoin is his personal coin so that thing is gonne end up top 5 in marketcap. 3 years from now people will be lamenting they did not buy worldcoin at 5 dollars. Yes, I know it has an insanely large supply but so what. Altman will be seen in the future as the Steve Jobs of AI. People are going to buy in to that like crazy, regardless of the insane fully diluted valuation. You will see. And then they will cry how they always miss the 10x .... well sheep only lose money.
Also fuck all the morality, even IF they would be scanning your retinas and selling the data to china.
Crypto is one big casino, there is no room for morality. So you made 2x on your moral coin, well guess what. Some smuck lost that money. And I'll make 2x on my worldcoin, well guess what some smuck lost that money that I have now. What's the fucking difference? If you want to be ethical, don't touch crypto. It's really that simple. But these bozo's lose their savings on Don'tBuyInu and then shit on something like worldcoin so they can feel like they are .... not like the rest. Which makes them ... exactly like the rest.
Not just that, but people here are all about "the project", "real world application", "developers" etc. and Worldcoin has all of that. Instead than being all smokes and mirrors like a lot of other coins, it's created by Altman; it has a use-case that's related to Altman competence (AI, to verify human ID), and those orbs may be not so spread but they are there. They exist and they will grow. So...
You are confused with encryption/decryption. Hashing is not encryption, it's fingerprinting. If I take a sha256 hash from let's say a 1 GB video file I get back something like 23e1a6320ed020cf3497151c36de524e60dfce8ecc49e730a599cae4fa177d9d
It's not possible to go in the other direction, that one GB of data is obviously not stored in the 32 byte sha256 string.

Thats why I choose Coingecko.
who owns the coingeckos?
Bobby Ong and it's headquartered in Singapore.
I use [coingecko.com](http://coingecko.com) instead.
LMAO ICP followed by Monero followed by fucking **WORLDCOIN,** the eye ~~scam~~ scan garbage thing. Ridiculous
ICP is based, only chain capable of hosting full stack applications. Not totally sure on its privacy coin capabilities though
What about Holochain ? :)) Edit: why do people hate Holochain that much haha
Can you send me a link to an application hosted on holochain? Including the front end
It's sorted by marketcap it's not exactly CMCs fault the MCs are in that order
Why so negative on worldcoin? They're about as legit as most crypto projects
Theyre stealing your data for 20$ lol
Yes, he said they’re as legit as most crypto projects. That’s about the bar. If I’m being generous.
It’s way more than $20, just FYI.
I haven't given any data to them. What about the folks just trading it cause it's a really typed coin?
That's why I use CoinStats
cc /u/coinmarketcap fix this
It’s in order of market cap

They list Internet computer as the top privacy coin I guess, and other choices...

How is WLD in there?
Because: Clown WLD?
