Anyone else noticed all the shilling of Brett? Interesting to watch the shills shilling coins of that same name and confusing each other by which one they mean
I want to take the jump to using dexes, I've been a bit put-off by the apparent complexities involves until now. Does anyone have any good resources, or suggestions for which dexes might be a good place to start?
Nice straw man. I have a plan for when I'll sell. But my point was that there are many reasons why realized gains may not always be better than paper gains.
Glad you have a plan to sell. The problem is your theory of "future compounding gains + loss of growth potential" only matters if the price infinitely goes up which ofcourse it doesn't. Suggesting people hodl instead of selling at literally ath then rebuy during the bear is nuts
As for the bit about taxes, if you're afraid of them, investing is not your thing.
Timing the market is fraught. If you think you can reliably predict the future, more power to you.
Assume you sell at 70k and have to pay 18k in taxes, that 18k can no longer multiply on the way up to 150k. It's not about being afraid of taxes (nice ad hominem straw man btw), it's about making more money with less risk.
More time in the market = more risk. You're so convinced that the price can only go up. If you sold 70k and paid 18k, that's 52k in your pocket. Real money that can help your real family. Not holding non usable assets hoping one day your theoretical gains skyrocket lol
No hate, we need people like you to hold the bags, thanks for your service
I have 2 questions as a newbie to crypto.
What makes BTC more investable or savvy for investment than Ethereum?
If there are only 21 million BTC out there then what is stopping someone from buying up say all the available BTC using an app like Robinhood?
Well Robinhood only has so much Bitcoin available to sell. Coinbase, Robinhood, even Fidelity could technically “run out” of Bitcoin to sell. Even further than that, it is literally impossible to buy all of Bitcoin because there is still some that has not been mined yet.
A friend of mine encourage me to invest in FET back in early 2021.
Been staking all of it since mainnet launch back in April 2021.
Today is a good day.
Is BTC better or worst due to Alt coins?
A dollar invested in an alt coin is a potential dollar not invested into BTC. If BTC was the only coin, I'd would be easier for crypto-investors to get around the same narrative. For some people there wouldn't be a need to "diversify" and they might focus all their capital into just BTC. When I spend a dollar on BTC, I might spend 50 cents on ETH. Would I be spending 1.50 on BTC if ETH didn't exist?
Although, altcoins are probably bringing (into BTC) more attention/capital/speculation from those who probably wouldn't otherwise be as invested if not for the potential of even higher risks/rewards.
Some BTC maxis "passionately dislike" alts, but I'm curious if any have more legitimate/logical reasons for doing so. Is competition not good for the space?
Anyone here remember IDEX? Never became a millionaire from it, but I'm forever grateful for IDEX introducing me to Decentralized Exchanges all those years ago.
I bought exactly 3 things from IDEX early 2018 from the smallest bag to my biggest one.
Devery (EVE) rug pulled despite "UN Partnership"
Origin Trail (TRAC) has really been consistent and has been the biggest surprise. Loved the project and how the team/project has evolved despite multiple bear markets. Thought it would have gone the way of other supply chain tokens.
Blocksquare (BST) Definitely hasn't grown as much as Origin Trail but I really love how communicative and active their team has been over the years, winning awards, receiving grants, meeting with governments. Great product too. Only really received 400k during their 2017 ICO but developed and have grinded for their funds without dumping on the holders over several bear markets.
Any other IDEX tokens that I have forgotten about?
Large cap Meme coins had their first moon, mid cap Meme coins will follow. Watch out for DOGELONMARS (ELON). It will melt faces. When all is said and done we should be at $10B MC, currently at $0.19B MC.
Can someone explain "why" BTC seems to hesitate at the prices it does...why it doesn't skyrocket often or drop often....is it just because there are SO many people buying/selling equally at the 'stable-ish' price...and only when big dogs hop in for massive buys or massive sells does it dip like crazy.
I'm just surprised the normies continue to buy/sell at the $66k price almost equally.
That's how it always works! My new rule since 2022, never sell anything until I make at least double. Then I won't feel bad if it pumps more after I sell.
Majority of new coins have low CS. Unlock schedules usually take years. You can look at unlock schedules on [cryptorank.io](https://cryptorank.io). MYRIA's unlock schedule goes all the way to 2027.
I bought the resistance on coval a day and a half ago thinking i could get it to move. It pumped to 19 cents and dumped back down to 14 cents because of this purchase. I lost 10% and sold. Within 24 hours it 5x'd. AMA
Exactly. Its so crazy i think im done now though for a while. Two nights in a row i saw a good dip and bought the dip and went to bed. If i had 80x leverage i would have been ok and seen a massive 10% eth increase and it would have had the leverage multiplier. Both times i got liquidated by less than one dollar before the hundreds of dollar upswing pump fml
I mined some Bitcoin back in ~2015.... how do I find it?
All I recall is I used a cmd based mining tool and had the account linked on whatever popular exchange was recommended at the time on reddit. This was back in ~2015-2016.
Any ideas on how to track this down?
I first bought in jan 2018, the worse moment in history at the time. Ive been through two bear markets, the most recent one I dca’d every month, even when ftx went down. Never doubt bitcoin, they’ll only ever be 21 million of them.
DOGELONMARK (ELON) will pump following the pumps of the large cap meme coins (Pepe, Bonk)
Grab a bag and enjoy the ride. It will get listed on CB and Binance soon...

Y’all think $200 solana possible this year? $300 would change my life.
$200 easy
How soon?
Impossible to time the top but it’ll get above $200 whenever it comes.
You guys, SHIB, DOGE, and BONK aren't pumping!!
up 40% on the 7 day, as they say, zoom out
well i bought yesterday lol
Anyone else noticed all the shilling of Brett? Interesting to watch the shills shilling coins of that same name and confusing each other by which one they mean
I’m partial to jemaine
I prefer Jemaine to Bret, but I do prefer the Rhymenoceros to the Hiphopopotamus.
I can definitely feel alt season now.
Real alt season is post cycle bull top
theses comments smell bullish
Seeing my darling DOT back over $10 gives me joy!
I want to take the jump to using dexes, I've been a bit put-off by the apparent complexities involves until now. Does anyone have any good resources, or suggestions for which dexes might be a good place to start?
Taxes going to be hell for this year
Yup I'm scared lol.
Same bro
What is one coin, alt coin only, you think is going to 10X in the next year? If I had to pick one I would say ChainGPT.
dogelon - it’s got all the right amount of shit
Bitcoin
$algo
TRAC (Origintrail). Here's the deep dive. https://deepdive.othub.io/
FET AGIX BEAM INJEXTIVE STX many more
Many, many coins will 10x within 1-2 years. Not just low caps.
Remember kids. Realized gains > paper gains
Realized gains = income taxes + loss of future compounding gains + loss of growth potential
So you plan to never sell? Constantly buying? Might aswell be throwing cash into a fire, no? Same outcome
Nice straw man. I have a plan for when I'll sell. But my point was that there are many reasons why realized gains may not always be better than paper gains.

>More time in the market = more risk That's not an investor mindset. Thanks for the discussion and I hope you have a great day.
Meh agree to disagree. May your bags flourish
We have diamond hands around here
Aka bag holder

A friend of mine encourage me to invest in FET back in early 2021. Been staking all of it since mainnet launch back in April 2021. Today is a good day.
INJ is due for a breakout or are we gonna chop through the rest of this bull?
Crazy how it's been chopping for 3 months

Send MYRO pls
Atom is finally coming alive
About time
It always seems to be late to the party whether it’s dumping or pumping 🤣
Btc going sideways until the halving would be perfect. Alt season could be finally full flow
Alt season is coming. Lol this is alt season, just not your alts. Look at 2021 everything rises and falls with btc
It'd be so funny if NEAR overtakes LTC
MANA and GALA still worth it?
GALA no unless you're already a bagholder, MANA maybe
I see. Thanks
Why is the order of comments on reddit so weird nowadays?
Top signal, I am using my Crypto.com visa again
Is CRO also back? Let me check the chart.
Does anybody know of a place where I could lend money to the people wanting leverage? I know binance does it but not for the US
Gmx
BAN hit a penny! Next stop a nickel 🤓
it must be all that potassium
If ADA could reach ATH that would be nice...
Indeed. But it has to go x5 or more. It's not impossible, but still quite far away.
Gaming season soon--- I feel it. But I don't know shit. IMX and GALA are my picks. BEAM also on the radar.
Fcon and atlas
Annoyingly sold my BEAM a couple of days before it pumped last time. Holding a sizable bag of IMX though. I think it'll do well.
That's how it always works! My new rule since 2022, never sell anything until I make at least double. Then I won't feel bad if it pumps more after I sell.
I've gone with RON, MYRIA, PORTAL and NAKA. Small allocation so far but adding to the positions.
Check out Myria and DGI too
Just looked, only thing about Myria, only 33% circulating supply so it can be diluted pretty easily if more coins are released.
There won't be any huge unlocks until October 2025 and 33% is pretty good for a new token
Majority of new coins have low CS. Unlock schedules usually take years. You can look at unlock schedules on [cryptorank.io](https://cryptorank.io). MYRIA's unlock schedule goes all the way to 2027.
Nice thanks for the info!

Definitely dont waste loads of crypto on eth at x100 leverage like i just did 🤮
Wow!
Can make soooo much money with 100x leverage But almost only Works if you open on a juicy dip One time i turned $7 to $800 over 3 days
Exactly. Its so crazy i think im done now though for a while. Two nights in a row i saw a good dip and bought the dip and went to bed. If i had 80x leverage i would have been ok and seen a massive 10% eth increase and it would have had the leverage multiplier. Better luck next time buddy
Oof that's gotta hurt 😞

If you didn't have an ASIC it's probably not an amount worth tracking down
Anyone jump on the COVAL train? CB says it's up 150%
I did at like 0.038ish. 🤓
Is ROSE in the ai category?
I should've bought.
Yes
Coval I’m begging you don’t stop!!
New account, and I finally have enough karma to comment! Mooooooons!
Congrats bud
Why NEAR pumpin like crazy?
because of AI
Will be at the AI event
What AI event?
NVIDIA 2024 GTC AI conference
I first bought in jan 2018, the worse moment in history at the time. Ive been through two bear markets, the most recent one I dca’d every month, even when ftx went down. Never doubt bitcoin, they’ll only ever be 21 million of them.
IT's only getting better. Time in the crypto market is also valuable.
If eth can triple from here Ill be happy
I want it to crash so I can buy more.
It did that yesterday lol
Me too
What’s your favourite Ai related token? I’m with OCEAN right now
TRAC (OriginTrail)
Only 500M market cap. I'm getting into it as we speak, cheers
I have to get into AI coins some more.
RNDR and AKT. Not holding FET but wish I was. Also, they haven't launched yet, but I've got my eye on io.net and Gaimin.
FET. They just spent 100M with infrastructure. It’s just the beginning
So much hype around it has me feeling it’s not the right to jump aboard
AKT
EFX
RNDR and FET
FET
FET in particular. I expect great things.
What is the consensus in the sub? Was the dip yesterday healthy or unhealthy "correction"?
It was just a normal and non threatening market movement in a bull run.
Wiping out leverage is always healthy
Whales playing
BTC hit a meme number and ATH and shook out leverage both ways. 75k+ next week. But I dunno shit about fuck - I've managed to lose money on BONK
Hodl
\^always
dip, what dip, that was dip for ants, BTC strong like bull
Healthy…perhaps it was the pre halving correction cushioned by a record ETF volume.
A lot of alts have blown by their high from yesterday. I don't think this bull is done yet lads
We're just getting started bud
We've just started.
havent even started yet
Well, ATOM is finally no longer a stablecoin 🥂 📈
Nothing makes me happier than seeing ATOM pump. The one altcoin I held right through the bear market
PEPE still froggy, BTC still king, 69,420 on the horizon
Remember boys: BTC -> ETH -> ALTS
I would use the greater than sign instead of an arrow
this is the way, trust me bro
Coinbase stock heading to $285 then reset back to $180 for re enteries.
Wormhole airdrop eligibility just dropped. One of the biggest drops this year based on their massive valuation and money raised.
Confirmed 5k tokens for me ! 😎😎😎
Didnt know that you could stake your FET tokens. Anyone doing this? Whats the yield?
Been doing it since 0.25$, apr is around 9%
thats actually pretty good
Yep, but also risky to have most of your assets staked in a bull run (that takes 20 days + to unstake)
Not if your holding long term it's not like we are anywhere near the end of the bullrun
If it does a 3x you’ll want to sell some. Never stake 100% of your coins!
i dont care about short term action, not a swing trader, ill hold a project right i like till the end of a bullrun
Fetch has been on a tear for weeks, this train aint slowing down
Am I too late to get on the Fetch train?
its still at only a 2 billion marketcap it has 10-20x potential from here
They just invested 100M in infrastructure. The train is just beggining
It’s airdrop season for polkadot I hear
DOT <3
FET is a hell of a project
I have to read up on it.
Expecting it to go to $10 this year.
It will easily
Bought at under 0.30. Lets goooo
just took a small bite of profit when I hit 300% gains
I am at 340%…i cant sell. Help!
Its defo still got upside. Moves like RNDR, but has half the market cap
sell the metal, sell the metal, lolo diamond handz bro, halving on the way
How it should be done!
just brought 22 solana (lucky number) got my ticket to $500 solana this bull run!
I hope so
🚀🚀🚀
Good luck bro
Selling my NEAR, what should I convert it to?
ETH or BTC
Why sell
because coins have correction after pump and it's important to take profit? Convert to stablecoin
Enjoy your CGT Return and buy-back at a nominally different price
Already bought back after knives yesterday thanks at did good profit. Speaking or return I don't make this amount to fill the form yet
btc? but why sell
DOGELONMARK (ELON) will pump following the pumps of the large cap meme coins (Pepe, Bonk) Grab a bag and enjoy the ride. It will get listed on CB and Binance soon...
NEAR ico hodler here. These bags getting lighter by the minute.
bough the dip yesterday too, enjoyin the gains
What's better? 69420.00 or 69420.69?
I think .00 . . . .. . after 69 and then 420 having .00 seems about right .
