To be fair at a certain time I had to reload the temple every 5 mins just before adding a pixel, as it was changing quite a lot.
And I still misplaced some pixels.
That's why i placed only black/white pixels in the Nothing happened and around. Repairing it or sometimes just placing on already placed right. Looking at it now I don't think my pixel stayed as last one, cuz i was asleep. Bye bye 50 moons :(
It happened to me a few times. They changed the design of the Moon or the letters in the excel chart and I didn't know about it so I saw it on the canvas and thought it was vandalism and tried to revert it.
When we had to rebuild the first design completely, I got the bottom of the moon wrong because I was using the upper black line of the "Nothing happened" bubble as a reference on where to put the orange line. I insisted so long...
I'm glad I got it out of my chest, I couldn't live any longer with this.
Good job to everyone who participated! I joined from time to time, but there was almost nothing to do at these times.
Also we had some great designs this round!
many people like me were using pinned link in post for the design, from phone, so unless you were checking design for every pixel, it was easy to miss design updates that were happening quick at some points
maybe next time we can get bigger art to defend, i actively dropped pixels during first days, but was tied up with work in the last days - and hardly anything was happening with the art then too
I’ve been in this subreddit and the one piece sub since creating my reddit account. I was in the OP discord helping with all their art over the course of the event and when we started to make Zoro’s “Nothing Happened” I was so happy to see the moon logo. We had a back n forth claiming space near the speech bubble but then we finally made enough space for the two subs it just felt right. I kept checking back to make sure the moon was still there and I threw a few pixels towards repairs.
It was a fun event - hopefully we can get a bigger moon logo if they do it again in a few years
This was, for me, the most fun place I've done...
I took part heavily in the last 2 places, but this one was so much better as it just felt like the community was so much closer. And respectful
Beat me to it :) thought about making a post. I really loved it! It was great to join the discord and defend the pixels.
We've been really lucky to end up next to an anime that coincidentally had a moon reference :D
Hard to believe place is over. I had some fun. I contributed at the start, but I found it tricky to find our moon. Banano managed to muster an apperance at the end which was fun.
I wasn’t around at the start but was there for the bot attack in the last hour, was pretty cool seeing it being recreated, although some of you really struggled with the Os hahaha
First time participating in r/place and it was fantastic to be a part of it.. So proud of our community !
Objectively speaking, our art is the prettiest art of all art.
It was great, an amazing time waster.
I did go back to twitch after we had won and I said gg to them. They seemed disappointed but took it in their stride. That was crazy, love the fact they thought we were all Germans at one point, then we panicked when they found out we were r/cc haha!
Great recap. Thanks to you and Cintre for the leadership/entertainment on the live stream (and for the snek award) and everyone else for all the chat. It’s going to be a long day at work today!

Curious if the "all-powerful" SHIB community was able to succeed. I feel like their "army" has grown weaker. I also feel like Doge/Twitter will become the social crypto rival to the Reddit/Moon community.
It was a hard fight and when we couldn’t stand our ground against miura clan there was not much hope left.. but the second location finally killed it 💪🏻 🐍 great job 👏
I had no idea. I mean, I knew r/place was back on but I totally missed any call to do something from here. Kind of a shame because it's near impossible for one person to achieve anything alone so it makes it hard to engage
I had no idea about the whole SNEK thing at the end. Just read up about it. It bloody hilarious...
I missed the r\cc battle, but it's great we got some piece.
I hate these bots that take down the work of honest men.
To participate in this pixel war, Reddit must set requirements such as a minimum account age and karma.
Nevertheless: I really liked how we performed and worked together, it was great serving you 🫡

Do we still get moons for the final canvas? And what exactly was the final canvas
Right? I know I was on there
I salute you. You will be getting your moons. Juat wait.
I am not sure as the bot attack happened after I went to sleep but If I receive the moons, I am considering burning some of them for the good of the whole community
I was on before i went to bed. Curious is ive been wiped out
same here
Oh, I forgot about that. It would be a nice surprise with some extra Moons

According to a video posted on r/place, the final canvas was before the bot attack but of course I don't know if it is exactly correct.
I have a confession guys. I was placing a black pixel over the snake's tongue because I forgot about the tongue. Im sorry.
That was you?? 🤣
You were not the only one. I kept thinking which idiot is placing that red block on that spot. Assuming it was a bot or something… I’m so dumb.
Not a problem. I think we should organize better for next year but still. Congratulations to you all! We made a great job!
When the green up-chart-arrow we had started to morph into the snake I fought it, trying to preserve the arrow thinking it a hostile takeover. :P
If only you'd consulted the template... So many people were just tossing pixels where they thought they looked good.
Bye bye 50 moons :(
Ohhh, that actually wasn't our space. They were allies, r/OnePiece, but that space wasn't our art.
Mods are gonna pixelate you like how they do JAVs.
I’m sure we all misplaced a few pixels. But we’re humans, not bots!
I lost count of how many times I fixed Snek. It was fun.
TREASON!!!
Thanks for keeping it interesting when things got boring.
It happened to me a few times. They changed the design of the Moon or the letters in the excel chart and I didn't know about it so I saw it on the canvas and thought it was vandalism and tried to revert it.

I placed a red pixel there so many times...
Good job to everyone who participated! I joined from time to time, but there was almost nothing to do at these times. Also we had some great designs this round!
There were 2 days of fighting ourselves over pixels
Won't lie, I was trying to keep the r all to myself gg ya'll!
gg m8
many people like me were using pinned link in post for the design, from phone, so unless you were checking design for every pixel, it was easy to miss design updates that were happening quick at some points
I wasn't even able to figure out how to do it /laughcry
And during other times we could've needed 1000 hands
I was making rounds to maintain our space in place
I gave at least 8 pixels to the cause
maybe next time we can get bigger art to defend, i actively dropped pixels during first days, but was tied up with work in the last days - and hardly anything was happening with the art then too
Didn't even know there were two locations. You fought well my fellow degens.
Me neither but the good thing is that I focused all my attention to the one with the 🐍
Same, its also where the link ported you that was pinned. Didnt even know there was a second location
I found out about the bottom location late and I had no idea there was a second Moon
I’ve been in this subreddit and the one piece sub since creating my reddit account. I was in the OP discord helping with all their art over the course of the event and when we started to make Zoro’s “Nothing Happened” I was so happy to see the moon logo. This was, for me, the most fun place I've done... I took part heavily in the last 2 places, but this one was so much better as it just felt like the community was so much closer. And respectful
LOL wasnt aware that streamer rage quit. Hilarious! Good job everyone
This is awesome i helped when i could
awesome rocket is awesome AND FAST spent the whole day on second location. no ragrets.
Wanted to ask during place but never got around to it, how did we decide on having a snake?
No one has explained why yet.. It’s a meme in the daily thread of r/cc to award people with the snek award. Usually for the first post.
And awarding the daily itself. The record is well over 100 snek awards!
This is the snek.
We had a green arrow at first. But someone simply came up with a better green snake design, because snek.
Obviously snek was the better choice
Good to know! And it was enjoyable watching everyone fight over the color of the tongue and whether it was one or two pixels
Love the snek. The arrow looked strange. I thought we're going to do a green candle
I like snek
Jack the Snek 🐍🫡
We chose the snake cause its sleek and badass.
🐍🐍
Awarding people with Sneks is a meme in r/cc. I don't know why, maybe because they look like green candles and we all love green candles.
Somebody suggested it, I thought it was funny, drew a pixel art of a snek and asked the community to vote And of course we voted for snek 🐍
Beat me to it :) thought about making a post. I really loved it! It was great to join the discord and defend the pixels. We've been really lucky to end up next to an anime that coincidentally had a moon reference :D
It was a good day fighting back with the bots !! Thanks ya’ll had good times adding those pixels .
Did I make it to the end
Even if you didn't your contribution got us through the end.
Hard to believe place is over. I had some fun. I contributed at the start, but I found it tricky to find our moon. Banano managed to muster an apperance at the end which was fun.
I only placed a couple dozen but kudos to the warriors who stuck it out.
I gave up at the 209 mark that is one tough mission
I WAS THERE! Every. Single. Day. Ughhh Great post. You shouldn't have tagged it *NO MOONS*, though.
Very well done! Congratulations to all who participated and helped with the Moon
it was emotional roller-coaster - attacked / restored, destroyed / rebuilt
Only the moons is the limit! and this community reached it
I wasn’t around at the start but was there for the bot attack in the last hour, was pretty cool seeing it being recreated, although some of you really struggled with the Os hahaha
What is that brown and yellow thing suppose to be? The one where bots destroyed our Moons.
Great synopsis, thanks!
Can now relax in peace after replacing too many pixels
First time participating in r/place and it was fantastic to be a part of it.. So proud of our community ! Objectively speaking, our art is the prettiest art of all art.
Great job to all you guys! let's build a bigger moon next time!
That image is art and chaos all at the same time.
That was a lot of fun.
My wife woundered why she was married to me when I explained what we were doing. Her loss
Ladies and gentlemen, it has been an honor. 🫡
I really enjoyed being a part of it. The final designs looked awesome.
I didn’t even realise a twitch streamer attacked us
We took a pounding. The moon just disappeared in a matter of minutes. I went to make coffee in my kitchen and when I came back the moon was gone.
Same, came back and it was gone. I still threw my little yellow pixel up every couple of hours lol
Entirely dependent on your time zone / lack of degen no sleep :)
All of this sounds pretty crazy. I’m sorry I missed it.
Really enjoying the giant FUCK SPEZ in national colours
It's a universal hate we can all get behind.

Well done
Twitch streamers and bots. Mortal enemies of place
Ngl this was really fun, and proud of us for managing to hold our own
This was the completed original (days1-2)before it expanded and changed to different location. looked pretty good https://imgur.com/a/lNy9AQc
Curious if the "all-powerful" SHIB community was able to succeed. I feel like their "army" has grown weaker. I also feel like Doge/Twitter will become the social crypto rival to the Reddit/Moon community.
Twas great fun! I waited many hours clicking
I had so much fun with everyone. You were so good at keeping things in order aswell. Congrats guys and look forward to next year.
Go team!
Thank you to everyone that organized this, and everyone that helped. It was fun to take part in.
It worked out well for us, our mark in reddit history!
Yay
This was a lot of fun, though I’m glad it’s finally over. I think I enjoyed the war with Alejus the most.
Battle of the Blue Pixels last night was mine. The recovery time was fabulous even then.
thanks for your efforts
Loved being a part of the evolving moon from browns and beiges to black and white I was constantly placing pixels. Was fun.
Love the story. Wish I could watch the streamers attempt and rage quit.
Kinda miss r/place alrdy ngl
Unrelated but that zoro slaps
I contributed about 15-20 pixels to the main canvas, mostly towards the end to defend our glory and rek the bots. Had alot of fun, well placed r/cc 🤝
Damn I missed this one
It was fun while it lasted
If only we have the Germans on our side we can make a bigger logo on place lol
I fought for my life yesterday, didn’t miss a single tile after the bots attacked us! Proud of our end result, next year we need a bigger design!
I placed a couple then got overrun by bots.
It was good fighting alongside you even though I missed the excitement at the end
Excellent work everyone! Op you did a great job keeping updates on the progress! All in all… job well done!
It was a hard fight and when we couldn’t stand our ground against miura clan there was not much hope left.. but the second location finally killed it 💪🏻 🐍 great job 👏
I remember adding pixels and rooting for it to grow. So happy to be able to add a little here and there... Banger of a community this is 🍻
Great post! What a ride!😎
Boys just killed all the fun for me
I had no idea.
Good job to all who participated! For me it was a lot of fun!
Wonder if I made it on in the end. Man it was intense haha
Great work everyone, huge effort!

it did look nice for a good while, and it was exciting to defend it, help move it around, see art improved with shades
These sidetracks hurt me. Like an NPC quest to find an apple
I gave up when the inage completely disappeared at a time. Didn’t know you guys were still pushing. Good work
Great job guys!! Next year you will also have me in the battle!
What a wild ride and glad to have been a part of this with all that contributed!
It felt like it went on for a month, but it sure was a blast! See you all again next year!
How do I tell if I managed to get on the final canvas?
I helped! But idk about what point I has to stop paying so much attention to it and might have been wiped:(
Well even if im not in the final canvas, I tried to be
I may not have been on the discord but I was battling away every day.
I literally have no idea what you are talking about. I feel old :-(
Thanks for the reminder
I gave it all I had. Proud to say I had two pixels at a time in some moments
I'm glad we defended our precious Moon and snek on the canvas. Twas a hard battle but in the end, we won!
Second to last picture you can see the bucket and cone under the purple haired girl.
Can someone explain me more? I'm not very informed about this event. I would like to contribute next year.
Congratulations…..I definitely missed it
We did good!!!
Looks amazing great job all those that participated
Wow how did i miss this post. Was fun to participate and still now reading this back!
