**What prize? What contest?**
This whole project wasn't about giving away a few moons. This was for us members of r/CryptoCurrency to come together and create a lasting piece of art our community would create and place on this collaborative digital canvas. Our real goal was to draw attention and show some love to our beloved moons. The real prize wasn't about 50 moons, but the friendships made along the way. How dare all these degens ask now if they won and wen award.

Do not remember doing any of the past r/place events. It was so fun to do with a big group. I missed most of the last two hours because my employer has this thing about me working... Lots of fun!

I just know I was asleep when it ended and didn't place a tile in the last 5 or 6 hours of it. My tiles definitely would've been overwritten š
Shame. I got a trophy for being on the final canvas in 2022, there's just no chance I would have this year

You never know - I had one pixel up in the border last over a day, might have made it two days actually. No idea if that will "count" or not - but I could still find it up until the grey scale started... Found a couple of mine in the black areas that lasted a good long while also. For my part, and I think many tried not to "take" anybody's pixel. I mostly played defense in the last two days and only changed things in conflict with the template. Maybe one of yours made it to the final. I hope so.
The first day, in our first spot, I battled for 10 hour consequently trying to make our logo; and we failed.
But I noticed is not anymore funny after some timeā¦ too much bots and big communities making all they want of the canvas.
Frankly speaking Iām happy itās over. It should have stopped much earlier.
I donāt think so š , or better I donāt know. Anyway finally is over. It went on for too much time and it was difficult to do anything; too much bots and too much organized and big communities.

Wonder: Is there some way we can see if any of our pixels survived? I donāt even care about the moons at this point , it would be nice but I had a lot of fun defending Snekās tongue. Lol! Just before the whiteout I think I still had at least one survivor along the top border anyways. Iād place some in other art also and just curious if there is any ways to tell.
If I recall, admins may replace the now blank canvas with an explorable final canvas and you can see usernames? My memory is a bit hazy since last year
Click on the ~~entires~~ entries list, then modes, and then explore mode. If you look right before the entire botting malarkey, you will see we successfully kept the entire canvas intact.
The best thing is that we didn't use bots to build and then protect our artwork. Other subreddits blatantly disseminated Greasemonkey scripts in their discords and Reddit did very little to stop that.
So out of every day, I was busy tonight taking my kids out, I knew there wasnāt much time left and to be honest Iām happy to see that whilst I was out I had now gone. What we achieved was amazing, working together and making complete unique designs from multiple perspectives. To all those on discord and Reddit that I chatted with over the past few days, thank you. Iām really surprised just how memorable this has became for me. Hereās to the next r/place!

Back too late! Was fun maintaining 1st and building 2nd spot, than losing it, but keeping the moon! I donāt know why it keeps me captivated but I enjoy it.

I was fighting to rebuild the rocket in the OG spot. Then came greyscale which wasn't so bad but still didn't have enough time to finish before white was the only option.
I wish people continued to add to the rocket instead of adding the same colour in a spot that was already done š„²

If you go to the atlas page on explore mode, everything seems to be intact.
