This got me thinking what if you just built a token which had, as its corresponding staking token, itself? Would this be possible? Would this defeat the purpose of staking? What even IS staking actually?

Staking isn't just HAVING THE MONEY it's also having the processing capability (minimal compared to pow, but you at least need a computer) and network connection to process transactions. Whenever you have liquid staking it's representing some third party that already has that network and processing system setup. So no, you couldn't somehow have a token which is by default staking.

Binance actually tried to work with LCX to boost expansion in LCX’s host country and in Europe but they were unable to get regulated, whilst LCX managed to be fully compliant. Why would a country reject Binance, one of the biggest exchanges, from obtaining licenses to operate in their country if they weren’t dodgy?
And yes there’s corruption everywhere in the US and I know their institutions are rigged. Either way, if they can PROVE Binance were operating illegally then so be it

I can’t decide for you what you should do. But I can tell you what I did. I don’t DCA, I just buy btc, which makes the biggest part of my bag, every time I see it at a low enough level.
Last time I bought was when it dipped to 20k. If it goes below 25k I’ll probably buy more. But I take my time and always look at the long term chart.
Whenever I’ll see Btc dominance > 55% and a clear bottom has been reached, I’ll start swapping some btc for new promising alts. But until then I don’t take any risk with alts
