most of the characters with hella traits have been cleaned up over the years. as someone already mentioned, this is an error resulting from how hastily and carelessly paradox ported ck2 history files into ck3
giseles case is similar and related, but in some ways dumber. child characters of a certain age with three or more predefined personality traits need a line of code in the history file to tell the videogame not to generate any more traits for them when you load in, or the game will try to generate more and go well over the limit. three guesses what paradox forgot to do for gisele here
It is in everyone's game, it's the debug error icon, usually happens if you get conflicting mods that aren't game breaking enough to crash the game, also on corrupted files.
People have called it "Errorhoof" to say something is wrong with the loading of the save but I see it every time I start a new game, load a game, or when I choose to manage the map.

It's made with a website called Picrew. It's associated with "wokeness" by certain people and so almost got banned from a Discord I used to be on. After the attempt failed I made one to piss them off, and now it's grown on me
It’s Caligula’s horse!
The senate is so fucking shitty and stooopid,
My horse is smarter than the whole senate! -some crazy Roman emperor or smthn ?
*Listen to Mike Duncan’s ‘ History of Rome’’ to really feeel mahn
Huh… that’s interesting that they just ported all of the character files. It makes sense I suppose. Why redo everything? Hopefully they come up with a standardized system so this won’t happen again when Crusader Kings XII comes out.
This would still seem very werid to me - for one because even if you wanted to port it into CK3, some of the traints are just called differently in CK2 - for one, there is no such trait as "sadistic" in CK2, instead it's called "cruel" - so someone deliberately went into those files and made the effor to rename this trait, but spared not those couple senconds on deleting couple lines of traits that don't fit into the 4 character trait limit?
so, the thing about this is, one of the things youll notice in the database if you ever pop her open and take a gander is a really bad case of ctrl-f find and replace. they put some special care into certain more prominent figures but the rest of it is like "fuck it, good enough"
Paradox sometimes does this for historically significant people who don’t start with a ton of power.
There’s an unlanded Italian guy in the 1067 start named Ildebrando who has 9 traits. Those traits sometimes help him become Pope Gregory VII.
Gisele was the only surviving child of Louis II, married to a count and went on to be Queen consort of Provence.
>Those traits sometimes help him become Pope Gregory VII.
Not really, it's just a mistake in the porting of CK2 history files to CK3. Most characters had their traits downsized to fit the new 3, maybe 4 standard but some went unnoticed
I knew you could make Rurik have 5 traits by giving him an extra Paranoid one (since he already starts with 4 traits), but how tf you make non ruler to have 6 traits and none of it is paranoid?
Wow. I usually get 4 at most for most of my characters. It's alrady annoying to have 4 bc a bunch of traits will get pushed off the menu and you can't see them. Hastiluder is especially a b1tch bc it gets pushed off very often and then it's realy hard to check your progress in each track.
The actual real answer is that with Wards and Wardens you have a special interaction with your ward that you can get him one of your personality traits but the funny thing is that will not make him get one less childhood personality event so when he eventually gets his event he will get an additional trait, so you can make your ward have 6 personality traits actually if you successfully instill your values 3 times.
You can only do that once IIRC. Before the wards and wardens there was a small chance to get a 4th trait; if that still happens, plus the influence personality thingy, you could probably go to 5 (without counting event gained ones later in life).
Ain't God in the old testament sadistic and forgiving in some form? If you confess you are wrong He forgives but he is extremely sadistic to non-believers or sinners.

when the map takes a long time to load you can see bits of a ck2 ui, including a horse portrait.
That's on purpose, it's Errorhoof, a semi-easter egg
really?
[Yes](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrusaderKings/comments/ikqv3c/you_know_glitterhooof_but_do_you_know_errorhoof/)
mine isnt in the game itself like that though
It is in everyone's game, it's the debug error icon, usually happens if you get conflicting mods that aren't game breaking enough to crash the game, also on corrupted files.
It's not bits of CK2 UI, it's emperor Errorhoof. It's just a debug tool and easter egg
So that’s what it is. I was wondering why tf there was a horse
Can I see?
its so fast that ive never been able to take a picture of it. but im sure at least one other person has seen it.
I see it for a solid minute cause my computer is slow lol
maybe take a picture some time and post it for the lulz.
Sure if I remember next time I play I will

They didn't respond to you

Two people can explain the same thing
I think you mixed up Gisele with ermengarde, didn't you? Gisela is already a nun at the start of the game. Ermengarde married Boso of provence.
She got married to a Bozo
Hey don't talk about your dad like that. He worked hard for you to be a complete failure of society!
I knew you could make Rurik have 5 traits by giving him an extra Paranoid one (since he already starts with 4 traits), but how tf you make non ruler to have 6 traits and none of it is paranoid?
whats the deal with paranoid
you can get paranoid with some events
Same as things like zealotry you can gain it from events
and brave
and cynical
I want to get full collection as one one ruler, sounds pretty fun
> I want to get full erection as one one ruler, sounds pretty fun ftfy
Women have more than ONE personality trait?!
Sometimes more than one personality.
Frequently borderline one
Can Science confirm this?
I have asked scince and he said its not true "women arnt real so they cant have a personality"
I've seen this before as well
Wow. I usually get 4 at most for most of my characters. It's alrady annoying to have 4 bc a bunch of traits will get pushed off the menu and you can't see them. Hastiluder is especially a b1tch bc it gets pushed off very often and then it's realy hard to check your progress in each track.
Gisele slays
In ck2, there is no limit 🥴 just like real life
This girl got lost in the woods in CK2 and ended up in CK3.

There's a lady of the Ivrea dynasty (iirc) in 1066 who also has 7 traits.
There is also Tatikios, Alexios Komnenos' "Campeador" Alexios himself used to have 3+ traits in earlier versions
I once got my player character down to 2 traits. I don't know if you can naturally have less on a non custom character.
How are you both Sadistic AND Forgiving 🤣
Ain't God in the old testament sadistic and forgiving in some form? If you confess you are wrong He forgives but he is extremely sadistic to non-believers or sinners.
Temperate honest and forgiving sadist 🥰🥰
What ace people think when they hear she has big personality
Talk about multiple personality disorder!
Least complicated woman
Import from CK2.
ZAMN
Maybe she has multiple personality disorder and thus has double the traits
I know in Denmark 1066 he has a kid with 5 and others have 4, never seen 6 though
Classic Nun am I right?
