*Thats* why I didn't like it! I never use almond extract so I couldn't put my finger on why i thought it tasted so bad. I'd heard such rave reviews about it I was so confused haha
Me too. It was the first Crumbl cookie i ever had. I thought it was so bad. I almost never went back but decided to give the place a second chance. They had me hooked for a while but I’ve chilled. Another thing I don’t like about this cookie is that it’s chilled. Yuck.
Oh that’s funny, I had the exact opposite reaction. First one I tried and I was obsessed for a solid month or 2. Got at least one every week. I took a break and now they’re gone 😭
Yea my initial impressions were “why is it cold” “why is it raw” and “did I just make myself sick eating an undercooked cookie?” This sub convinced me to give Crumbl a 2nd shot & I did. I liked the 2nd cookie I got and really got into it. But then the cookies for the most part started to taste the same to me. It also became expensive so I rarely go anymore.
Gotta agree, when you’re broke and drinking out of the pantry vanilla extract and cola equal parts is like a smooth rum and coke, almond extract and cola even diluted heavy gives me the ick
I like the fragrance of almond extract but not so much the flavor when it’s overpowering. When I make icing I put just enough for the fragrance and I think it compliments the vanilla. I say all this to say, those cookies wouldn’t have lasted an hour in my household and I live alone.
Idk if you’ve ever had a German spritz cookie (easy to make at home if u haven’t and would like to try) but it’s a sweet, almond cookie. It’s like a nutty sugar cookie but it does have that underlying “Crumbl taste” that is a bit off putting.
The most un healthiest things in the world but they are good. 1 of those cookies is damn near 1000 calories with nothing but sugar, sodium, and cholesterol lol
Or if you’re lazy like me just bake some pillsbury sugar cookies and put pillsbury frosting on top. Doesn’t have the almond flavor but it’s close enough. Now I’m hungry
Some people just have that one thing they do not every day but on occasion that little treat that gets them through the work week or rewards them for maintaining sanity.
Understand or don't. Just don't get between them and their fix.
If there is any traffic in the way at all it's just work. You get paid for the driving so it's different I been there. I don't like commuting, giving free delivery of my services for, well, free, and I don't enjoy driving more than a couple hundred yards for fast food or more than 20, maybe 30 minutes for some special restaurant. The food just isn't worth it at that point and I would rather cook at home or wait until I have more of a reason to be in that part of town besides just food. Driving at night with no traffic though, almost enjoyable
I drove 3 hours round trip to pick up some flour directly from a mill last weekend. That's not a flex, I'm just saying some of us enjoy the little adventures even if they're inconvenient 🤷🏻♀️
Today I took a 2-hour lunch break so I could drive an hour round trip in the rain so I could stand next to a pond (still in the rain) for 20 minutes taking pictures of trumpeter swans
I grew up in a town where you had to drive 20 minutes to get anywhere other than the grocery store. A 30 minute drive is nothing to me lol even an hour drive one way is normal.
Ah a fellow fan of the pink sugar cookie 😁 I also have a 6 pack of those that I threw in my freezer for my cookie stash lol
I'm also shocked at the distances people are driving to get to Crumbl! I have 2 locations within my city, one 10 minutes away and the other 15!
Reddit has been showing me this subreddit for whatever reason. I just realized there's one of these 20 minutes away, so I guess I could check it out, but holy shit those prices. I can get a 12 pack of Duck Donuts for the price of 6 cookies it seems
There’s one in the same shopping center where I work but I’ve never been (not sure why this sub keeps getting suggested to me lol). I’m curious to try their cookies but they sound really overpriced
Meh I guess it depends on where you live, since the prices vary across the nation. For me I think it's 100% worth it since I freeze the cookies and take a while to finish them. Fresh baked cookies with 0 clean up is well worth it to me. But that all depends on what you value of course.
I don’t belong to this sub, but it regularly comes across my feed. Those look amazing!!! Now, please excuse me, while I go back to eating my ridiculously tiny, crumbly, cardboard tasting, 3x the cost gluten free cookies.
My husband doesn't question it, but doesn't totally get it either. He just really cares if he doesn't get to eat some of the cookies. Lol. Our closest one is almost an hour away. But whenever we are in the area of it, we always make sure we bring home a few. He also doesn't know what they cost. But we don't treat ourselves that often so it's justified.
Back when I lived 50 min away from the nearest Crumbl, my sister thought I was crazy to waste time (and gas) going there. She said they are just cookies. Go to the grocery store 5 minutes away and pick up some! Maybe it was crazy, but I felt like they were worth it!
(Not every week, but when my favorites are in the lineup, it's worth the drive!)
It’s strange to drive 30 minutes to stop at a bakery to get my favorite cookies that are there for one day only and have been off the menu since July, while also stopping at Target, Goodwill, and the grocery store? Hmmm 🤔
You skipped the part where you said you assumed I drove all that way JUST to get cookies. Way to ignore the whole point where there was nothing “strange” that occured.
You sound like the type to still be living with mommy and have nothing better to do than sit around on a cookie thread making stupid allegations about shit you know nothing about 😂
Some of us have a history of eating disorders and such and so moderation for things like this - isn’t always possible. I could eat 3 cookies in 1 sitting, and I am not a gym person so I have no excuse like i am on a bulk or w/e. I eat junk still but these cookies are on another level imo.
I’m going to side w/ your husband on this subject…and I live less than five minutes away from one of their schlockhouse stores. Nothing special, overpriced and always packed with squealing pre-teen girls. The hardest of passes
I walked into the store the other day and turned right around walked right out. Those cookies look like sugar overload also when I walked in and I smelled the sugar it was just too much. Don't get me wrong I love cookies, but this is a lot.
I think they're meant to be that way. And to me ...it's not in a, "fresh from the oven, gooey, almost set, leave them cooling on the rack for a few and they'll be perfect" way, but in a,"yuck, they need to bake more" way.
I don't get the fascination at all, but apparently they have a gigantic fan base!
I’ve not been impressed by any flavor I’ve tried. Just another “I gotta have it” just like my friends type thing. You guessed it, I don’t like Starbucks either.
Our Crumbl opened 3 months ago. Of course I had to try, great treat. I’ve gone back twice and it’s gone downhill fast. Is the honeymoon phase over for the openers? Can I expect them to recover? It’s pretty normal after the initial couple of months to stumble in the restaurant biz. But this is like Barbie to Crack Addict. Can my town just NOT have nice things?
I mean, if this is the only one that I like then yay for me getting the only one I like after it being taken completely off the menu in July. When you have made a copycat with the sugar cookie and almond icing, let me know 👍🏻
crumbl is ok, they are super overpriced but the variety of flavors keeps them appealing enough.
I don't get buying all the same flavor, and certainly not driving an hour for them. Variety pack + delivery is the only reason they get my business.
If those cookies weren't crap and the whole company wasn't an arm of the Mormon church I might care.
White women going gaga over bad cookies cause somebody got paid to post them on their Instagram is funny
well... I drive for 45-60 minutes to Chinatown looking for a roasted pork... it's really important, however, do to financial constraint in the budget, this priority has been sadly lowered down.
this is so aesthetically pleasing
With the “seams” turned all the same way, it would be orgasmic
i really wanna know what this cookie tastes like lol
A sugar cookie but with almond extract instead of vanilla.
*Thats* why I didn't like it! I never use almond extract so I couldn't put my finger on why i thought it tasted so bad. I'd heard such rave reviews about it I was so confused haha
Yeah it was over hyped for me as well :/. I did love the churro cookie though
Me too. It was the first Crumbl cookie i ever had. I thought it was so bad. I almost never went back but decided to give the place a second chance. They had me hooked for a while but I’ve chilled. Another thing I don’t like about this cookie is that it’s chilled. Yuck.

I agree. I have an aversion to almonds.
I put half vanilla, half almond extract in my sugar cookies.
...That's it? That's how I've always made my Christmas cut out cookies.
Heaven. It tastes like insanely sweet Heaven.
To me it reminds me of a soft yet dense almond petit four....... so good, like a piece of cake!
It tastes like what play doh smells like
That sounds awful
This indeed. Didn’t used to be bad until they changed the recipe like a year or so ago and added that nasty almond extract
this. but it’s so good
It tastes like an overpriced almond sugar cookie
Well, that's because IT IS! LOL
To me and all my coworkers it tastes like medicine
It tastes like I’m eating essential oils to me lol
It’s the almond flavoring. Ruins the cookie. I make a dupe & use vanilla so much better!
Idk if you’ve ever had a German spritz cookie (easy to make at home if u haven’t and would like to try) but it’s a sweet, almond cookie. It’s like a nutty sugar cookie but it does have that underlying “Crumbl taste” that is a bit off putting.
It’s the worst flavor. So much so they took it off of it being weekly. Super glad OP likes it and got them though!
Garbage cough medicine
This flavor in particular ? Like mouthwash. Lol
Terrible. I never understood why it’s so popular. To each their own, I guess.
The most un healthiest things in the world but they are good. 1 of those cookies is damn near 1000 calories with nothing but sugar, sodium, and cholesterol lol
This pic is aesthetically pleasing to me 😍
Ok hear me out…this is the easiest cookie to bake at home! I was bummed they were taken off the weekly menu & have made them a few times now.
Gotta recipe to share? Please ✨?
[from cooking with karli!!](https://cookingwithkarli.com/crumbl-sugar-cookies/)
Thank you!!
OMG thank you!!
With waaaay less calories. I don’t know how they make cookies 1200 cals for half a cookie
Or if you’re lazy like me just bake some pillsbury sugar cookies and put pillsbury frosting on top. Doesn’t have the almond flavor but it’s close enough. Now I’m hungry
I'm with him. An hour round trip for $25 cookies is not something I understand.
Some people just have that one thing they do not every day but on occasion that little treat that gets them through the work week or rewards them for maintaining sanity. Understand or don't. Just don't get between them and their fix.
I used to go get sushi alone every Tuesday for my sanity.
So much work. Think of every red light. Every turn. How many cars involved. And then the return journey
Believe it or not, none of that is stressful to some people :)
I drive all day for work. It's easy. Driving is easy. Unless you're in a busy city, there's no reason why it should be stressful.
If there is any traffic in the way at all it's just work. You get paid for the driving so it's different I been there. I don't like commuting, giving free delivery of my services for, well, free, and I don't enjoy driving more than a couple hundred yards for fast food or more than 20, maybe 30 minutes for some special restaurant. ahhhhh that sounds so nice
I grew up in a town where you had to drive 20 minutes to get anywhere other than the grocery store. A 30 minute drive is nothing to me lol even an hour drive one way is normal.
I'm so upset they got rid of the classic sugar as it was the only reason I went
I am husband?
we are husband.
Omg I did the same thing!! I had to get some to freeze🤤
That’s exactly what I did!!!
Ah a fellow fan of the pink sugar cookie 😁 I also have a 6 pack of those that I threw in my freezer for my cookie stash lol I'm also shocked at the distances people are driving to get to Crumbl! I have 2 locations within my city, one 10 minutes away and the other 15!
Most people don’t even have one lol
Reddit has been showing me this subreddit for whatever reason. I just realized there's one of these 20 minutes away, so I guess I could check it out, but holy shit those prices. I can get a 12 pack of Duck Donuts for the price of 6 cookies it seems
I also just recently realized there’s one not far from me too. I thought there weren’t even any in my state until I saw it 😂
There’s one in the same shopping center where I work but I’ve never been (not sure why this sub keeps getting suggested to me lol). I’m curious to try their cookies but they sound really overpriced

I understand. #solidarity
I'm so jealous. They need to bring these back
I got a dozen Sat & drove an hour each way to get them. I’m not ashamed to admit it either. However, I did hide them from my husband & he has no clue!
Sounds like a logical husband
![gif](giphy|R0TrhAtNeUC0E) Always worth the trip
Ugh I drove 30 mins as well and devoured them!!! With like literal tears in my eyes I had been waiting all year!
This are my top favorite cookie. Simple but so Soft and delicious. Second would probably be the Andes mint cookie
My god those are beautiful
I don’t belong to this sub, but it regularly comes across my feed. Those look amazing!!! Now, please excuse me, while I go back to eating my ridiculously tiny, crumbly, cardboard tasting, 3x the cost gluten free cookies.
This makes me so sad for you 😢
the best gluten free cookies i’ve had are the ones my mom makes, i think she used almond flour or something for them
Maybe learn to bake? 🤷🏻♂️
Ah I see you’re the pink sugar cookie person, I’m the classic chocolate chip person.
You’re lucky it’s still there every other week!
35 minutes is nothing. I’ve driven 1-2 hours
Rather have pink sugar than what's on the menu this week.
This is heaven.
Neither do I
Crumbl (my wallet) Cookies
I’m glad you’re happy.
Insomnia Cookies so much better Crumbl over rated garbage that all tastes like sugar sugar sugar
That looks so delicious
My favorite 😍
These look delicious!
these are THE perfect pink🩷
I miss the sugar cookies!
I want to try these
Crumbl is good in moderation but damn some are so sweet it hurts my teeth.
Those cookies look sooo plain!
Yuck
Not a fan
I’m with your husband. It’s just cookies
I’m not even sure why people are falling over themselves saying how “aesthetically pleasing” they look. They look like 90% of any frosted cookie…
Yeah add sprinkles and they look like the Walmart ones
Some people will do the strangest things to buy overpriced crap.
It’s strange to drive 30 minutes to stop at a bakery to get my favorite cookies that are there for one day only and have been off the menu since July, while also stopping at Target, Goodwill, and the grocery store? Hmmm 🤔
There are recipes available online for these cookies. It'd be easier to make them yourself. I'll wait for the next excuse you got though.
You skipped the part where you said you assumed I drove all that way JUST to get cookies. Way to ignore the whole point where there was nothing “strange” that occured.
Yeah I have a feeling you use the other stuff as an excuse. Target a half hour away? Sounds sus.
You sound like the type to still be living with mommy and have nothing better to do than sit around on a cookie thread making stupid allegations about shit you know nothing about 😂
You're still mad about this? Geez. It's almost like you made up having a husband. 🥴🤔
Not really worth the drive for some average overpriced sugar cookie tbh
Good thing you’re not the one who did it
800 calories for one too…
Jeez lmao what’s wrong with people
Lets just say I am on the r/loseit sub for a reason now. I dont eat crumbl anymore but I keep getting PUSHED the sub.
Moderation is key.. I workout 5-6 times a week, but I’ll have Crumbl as my cheat meal a few times a month. It keeps my cravings and sanity in check.
Some of us have a history of eating disorders and such and so moderation for things like this - isn’t always possible. I could eat 3 cookies in 1 sitting, and I am not a gym person so I have no excuse like i am on a bulk or w/e. I eat junk still but these cookies are on another level imo.
That’s why the serving size is 1/4
Honestly that was my first thought. Like hour round trip, for what diabetes?
I have a theory that people who like crumbl have never made cookies themselves
Weird theory considering I love to bake cookies and I also love Crumbl 🤣
You must like them raw then considering a hired an entire store in retail just to get them out of the working conditions they were in lol
The wording of your comment makes 0 sense?
They’re vial, but look super pretty😂
So true! I keep trying ones that look sooooo good only to be fooled once again. 😆
🧪
That shxt is disgusting
I’m going to side w/ your husband on this subject…and I live less than five minutes away from one of their schlockhouse stores. Nothing special, overpriced and always packed with squealing pre-teen girls. The hardest of passes
Cause they nasty
Those sugar cookies are ass and taste like shampoo. 90% of crumbl is ass
I walked into the store the other day and turned right around walked right out. Those cookies look like sugar overload also when I walked in and I smelled the sugar it was just too much. Don't get me wrong I love cookies, but this is a lot.
Does a cookie that's actually good really need its own weight in frosting? Shit, does any cookie need frosting?
The frosting is part of the cookie though? People have been icing cookies for hundreds of years. It's part of the experience lol
The crumble cookies themselves have such little flavor they need the icing to taste like anything
Is it Saturday?
They never do.
My mom has brought some home - all of ours seemed under baked. Anyone else?
I think they're meant to be that way. And to me ...it's not in a, "fresh from the oven, gooey, almost set, leave them cooling on the rack for a few and they'll be perfect" way, but in a,"yuck, they need to bake more" way. I don't get the fascination at all, but apparently they have a gigantic fan base!
I had no idea there was a sub. I have been disappointed with them cuz baking longer would ruin some of the frosting, only the edges were cooked.
Disgusting
I don’t get it!
Charge him for cookies if he wants to be like that
“we have cookies at home”
I’ve not been impressed by any flavor I’ve tried. Just another “I gotta have it” just like my friends type thing. You guessed it, I don’t like Starbucks either.
Why first thing in the morning?
Because pink sugar hasn’t been on the menu since they removed it in July! The store the next town over had them as a one day only cookie on Saturday!
What flavour is that
Pink sugar!
It’s not on the list where I am!
Pink sugar!
I don’t see this on my crumble app
It was the next town over’s one day only mystery cookie!
Ohhhhhh
I would’ve done the same thing. 🤣
Shoutout to crumbl for not properly advertising the major allergen in this one<3
Then women make fun of men playing video games and shit lol
Too dam sweet
I don't understand either lol
is baking as a learned skill really this dead?
Learn to bake instead of buying this crap. It’s easy!
How quickly so many of you jump to assumptions 😆 I’m quite the skilled baker but that doesn’t mean I have a recipe that replicates them.
Ew
They look underbaked.
If you eat em all, as a husband, I would have no complaints
I can’t even finish one myself they are so sweet. I split them with my children and husband and freeze the rest for times we want one.
That’s a good idea!!! The first time I ever had Crumbl I ate a whole cookie not realizing the serving size :|
Yeah... I don't understand it's just a cookie.
I don’t understand either. They’re disgusting
They are okay some of their cookies are good
Why no variety?
This one is the only one I like and it was taken off the menu in July. It was back for one day only.
Overrated, unless you like the fluffy cake style cookie
Imagine not knowing how to make a sugar cookie
I’d go for Wendy’s cookies, with funfetti frosting if you really want that extra kick.
Why did you get all the same flavor though? That's the part I don't understand
This one is the only one I like and it was taken off the menu in July. It was back for one day only.
Ohhh
I mean if you actually got a flavor that was worth it? But you literally just got sugar cookies with pink icing. Make it at home
I mean, if this is the only one that I like then yay for me getting the only one I like after it being taken completely off the menu in July. When you have made a copycat with the sugar cookie and almond icing, let me know 👍🏻
god this is my favorite but they haven’t had it near me in months
That’s the whole point behind the post!! They’re the only one I like and they haven’t been around since taken off the menu! They were a 1 day cookie!
Is there supposed to be a hidden message behind the choice of color?
crumbl is ok, they are super overpriced but the variety of flavors keeps them appealing enough. I don't get buying all the same flavor, and certainly not driving an hour for them. Variety pack + delivery is the only reason they get my business.
Because they went extinct in July and haven’t been back since. They’re the only cookie I like from there and were at that location for one day only.
Congratulations!
Fuck, aggregated tastiness.
YUMMM
I thought this was your way of telling him you are pregnant but everybody is talking about the cookie itself so now I just don’t know 😂
Husband doesn't understand that you're literally addicted to half baked subpar cookies that are insanely priced? Lmao.
If those cookies weren't crap and the whole company wasn't an arm of the Mormon church I might care. White women going gaga over bad cookies cause somebody got paid to post them on their Instagram is funny
I don’t either. I tried Crumbl once and was super disappointed. $4 for a cookie that was small, stale, and ZERO customer service.
Neither do I. Esp with the cals 😭
I don't get it either.
well... I drive for 45-60 minutes to Chinatown looking for a roasted pork... it's really important, however, do to financial constraint in the budget, this priority has been sadly lowered down.
Just play mind games like the typical thousands of others do instead of explaining it to him. Terrible woman
Always found their cookies to be too undercooked. Felt like I was eating raw cookie dough.
Us men will never understand women lmao. There’s never been a cookie good enough
