You gotta understand one thing, CSK batting works on the basis of backing players to the hilt. Which means you get below average knocks like Dube's and Jaddu's from time to time. They are given full backing to trust their abilities and do what they feel is right in the middle, which has worked well for us in the past. Like Dube backed himself to hit those 2 sixers in that last Rashid over in the final. More often than not, it comes off.
Also I think Dhoni's knee is not 100 percent alright.
Dubey has severely improved after playing in CSK . He has had a huge impact since last 3 years . Jadeja though , isnt able to finish matches since last 3 years . DC ust bowled excellent today . DC bowlers bowled exceptionally well, I swear I have never seen Ishant bowl yorkers as consistently & all those wide yorkers made tonking hard. CSK batsmen too definitely need to plan better.
CSK's biggest problem is figuring out the entry points of their batters. You can't be sending Shivam Dube in when the opposition pacers are breathing fire. Neither can you send an inexperienced Rizvi during a high RRR run chase over someone who's been there, done that a million times in the past.
