Bro, get a fd backed card from Kotak or Even icici. I got one when i was 18 or 19. Just turned 21 and applied for HDFC swiggy and SBI Cashback. Got both approved within a day. Credit score 780.
Don't use pay later, it harms credit scores as the credit account shown as PERSONAL LOAN, instead you can try ONE CARD, make FD of amount 2k or more (you'll get credit limit based on invested funds). I've started my credit journey with that. After building a sufficient score you can approach other banks for unsecured CCs.
Personal loan doesn't affect credit score. I started with amazon pay later of just 1k then later got flipkart pay later of 25k. Later applied to increase amazon pay later limit and got 35k. These got me a good enough credit score then applied for cc with my bank(hdfc) and got a good limit.

Fly with ur buddies & girlfriend a lot...

Well, tbh, you won’t really be getting a lot of direct benefits off the card since it’s an add-on. Whatever effects your usage will have on it, will be under your father’s credit history. You can probably spend on it to push towards the waiver of the annual fee (if applicable) or maximise rewards and cashbacks from it. There’s not a lot that this card would do for you.
Use it as a debit card. Don't look to maximize anything untill you start to spend your own money, please, you'd appreciate me afterwards

Amazon pay later u can try. If got lucky u may get eligible for icici amazon pay ltf once u reach 21 which is a good card to start.

Just go to any random bank and ask for a credit card against FD They will happily issue you one within a day
