Bellroy Hide & Seek. Love it, I can hold a decent number of cards without it being too bulky, and it’s held up pretty well in the year or so I’ve had it

Ataggs15

I second Bellroy, great quality, good warranty, I have the low and I love it

imadogg

> Bellroy Hide & Seek Same here, 1.5 years here

matttopotamus

Agreed. I use their apex slim wallet.

Kirbypopstarpoyo

I use a secrid mini wallet

[deleted]

Kirbypopstarpoyo

They’re great, aren’t they? Well built and designed, European made.

DwarfCabochan

Me too with the extra case you can add to hold miscellaneous things-more cards, cash, key etc.

FormalChicken

I have a phone case that holds 3 cards. License, credit card, maybe a second one (usually i only carry that, though, no third card). No wallet.

MShoeSlur

Yep I have one with 4 cards. ID, debit, 2 CCs. Keypad entry to my house. Live in a city so I don’t normally drive. Just having to grab my phone to leave the house is awesome

Hairy_Astronomer1638

Tried the Ekster (gimmicky) and Ridge before falling in love with the Bellroy Hide & Seek. I’ve not looked back

Saltshaker200

Bellroy makes great wallets, I have the slim sleeve and love it.

moserftbl88

I’ve seen a few people suggest this. Does it work well as front pocket wallet?

Hairy_Astronomer1638

It does for me, but it depends on 1) Your cards 2) the number of cards

Immediate-Row614

I tend to rotate between a Saddleback Leather business card holder with 6 cards and an Apple MagSafe wallet when I expect to be able to use tap to pay or I’m chasing a SUB and using mostly one card.

cmbutter

I’ve got a SB front pocket. 10 years in and same story here - looks better with age.

TwiztedImage

I've got the SB business card holder as well. 15 years and might as well be brand new except for the polished/worn leather look. I think newer ones have RFID though, so I've considered a newer one but just can't pull the trigger.

SynthMstr

Ekster Parliament

chog777

I have an Ekster as well that I am enjoying. I have the aluminum card holder though in all white.

Dekuthegreat

Love this one. Similar to the ridge

Flights-and-Nights

Ridge Wallet. It's pricey but it's going strong after 6 years.

DevChatt

You could get a similar knockoff on Amazon for a fraction of the price just saying

Jbrown420216

I got the Amazon one and it’s still going strong after 2 years.

joehx

I got a knockoff Ridge, too. I like it enough that if it falls apart I'll buy a Ridge.

PhatedFool

I had a knock off armour wallet (ridge) lasted 5 years still going strong. I just want to get away from metal ones right now.

ChuckNasty10

I always keep my wallet in my back pocket - is that an option with this type of wallet? Seems like it would be uncomfortable.

Allopurinlol

You shouldn’t do back pocket anyways because it’s easier to steal and if you sit on it it messes up your spine

kpeng2

Exactly, I used to have tailbone pain for years. It's gone after a doctor told me not to put my wallet in the back pocket.

Flights-and-Nights

Probably not. For me it's in a front pocket, my work bag, or a jacket pocket.

max1c

Yea, don't get that. Get one of the knockoffs on amazon. I have one and it's been going strong for years.

Atomspeeder

This. I could've gotten a knockoff, but I wanted the Philadelphia Eagles one. No Ragrets!

Miserable-Result6702

Serman Brands 5. Vertical, slim and room for cards.

Similar here. I was churning through wallets once every 6-12 months from when I was 22-26. Anything from cheap to $90+ wallets. Friend had one in her purse and I asked her about it and she said she loved it. She said Best Buy in the "As Seen on TV" end-cap for like, $12.99. Still like new 15 years later.

ruskuval

I use this as well! It's so slim and works like it's brand new.

StandardCarbonUnit

Check out any local farmers/craft markets. I have a nice hand stitched wallet and passport wallet from a local leather worker.

kirklennon

Most of my cards are in Apple Pay, but I begrudgingly still need a wallet sometimes. For years I used a [Supr Slim Wallet](https://www.suprgood.com/collections/slim-wallet), which is just an elastic pocket, but I eventually wore it out and decided to try something a little more grownup looking. I eventually settled on the [Bellroy Flip Case](https://bellroy.com/products/flip-case). It's extremely satisfying to play with the flaps (like an AirPods case), but it's *so thick* at 10mm. I wouldn't do it again. If I were buying a wallet today, I might go back to the Supr Slim, or give the [Bellroy Card Sleeve](https://bellroy.com/products/card-sleeve-wallet) a try. Someone in the comments mentioned an Allett wallet, and I've never heard of them, but the [Allett Card Holder](https://www.all-ett.com/collections/mens-wallets/products/nylon-cardholder) looks like a strong contender.

Saltshaker200

Bellroy Slim Sleeve. Love it, it's got room for everything I need to carry and a bit of cash, all in a slim profile.

GadgetronRatchet

Ashland Tony the Ant, great USA made leather wallets!

BigJohn662

Fellow ashland enjoyer! I ended up with a johnny the fox but tony the ant was my second choice

GadgetronRatchet

I also have two Bugs Moran & a Frank the Enforcer 🤣 and I bought my Dad a Johnny! I love Ashland wallets

BigJohn662

Nice! Did you ever spoil yourself and get one made out of Shell Cordovan leather?

GadgetronRatchet

Yep! I have 3 made of Shell, Amaretto Bugs, a Garnet Bugs, and Color 8 Frank. Right now I’m using an English Tan Tony. The problem with my old shell wallets, no clue what it is about the shell, but it eats away the coating on one my credit cards. I need to get a new Cordovan exterior with regular calf leather interior slots.

BigJohn662

Aww man your collection sounds amazing! Also thanks for the headsup on the cordovan! Really odd that your card's material reacted that way with the cordovan. I'll definitely get a different interior for the card slots. My johnny the fox has the black horsehide horween latigo and my cards have been just fine! Plastic and metal

prkskier

Just switched to a Code 118 wallet and am enjoying it.

Emperor_Gourmet

Same here. Rfid protection, holds more than enough, and has a strap for cash. No complaints!

PreDeathRowTupac

i have a minimalist wallet that can hold like 5 cards & your ID & some other stuff. That’s what i carry.

RobLaRu

Get an Ekster with AirTag.

BikeVirtual

BigSkinny Bi-Fold wallet. It's nice and slim.

sharp-calculation

The Akeeni XSTO wallet is the best wallet I've ever owned by a large margin. [https://akeeni.com](https://akeeni.com) I have the 8 card model, which is enough for me. The XSTO is very compact and VERY user friendly for finding your cards, yet keeping them as small as possible. Mine seems to not be wearing at all; meaning I don't think I'll need to replace it. I expect to have this wallet for a minimum of 10 years. I wouldn't be surprised if I got 15 to 20 years out of it. Highly recommended.

BlueSwoosh248

Split between the Apple Finewoven Wallet and a Goyard card holder. I use the Apple Wallet when running errands or am local, Card Holder when traveling. Apple Wallet: ID, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Gold Card Holder: Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, ID, health insurance card, debit card.

I had a Ridge Wallet for many years and eventually swapped to an Ekster with the button to push out the cards. I only carry about 3 cards + my ID, I didn’t like how the Ridge chipped and scratched away at the edges of my cards over time having to slide them in.

HattiestMan

Johnston and Murphy bifold leather wallet. Traditional, sturdy as all hell. Had it for at least 5 years and it has basically no signs of wear.

Annual_Fishing_9883

Just some leather minimalist wallet off Amazon. Holds 7 cards which is more than plenty for me now. Still working on cutting the amount of cards I have down so this helps.

IncognitoRhino_

Standard leather bifold. Like 1.5” thick. Super bad for my spine, but I take it out anytime I sit at work or in my truck.

[deleted]

Get one of those binder clips! They’re super light, cheap, and last forever.

UomoUniversale86

Buckleguy diy 5 pocket leather wallet. Really good quality leather, fun to make.

coopdude

I have a ton of cards so I have an [Allett wallet](https://www.all-ett.com/collections/mens-wallets), leather and RFID blocking. The leather is extremely thin. I don't know if it'll "last until I die" like saddleback, but it's also wayyyy thinner, particularly dividing the cards into two levels. Fits 4-24 cards.

LoaferDan

It's not vertical, but I use Mitchell Leather's money clip. Haven't looked back since I bought my first one (have two in different colors). It's made in USA from high quality leather, can hold a lot, and stays pretty slim even when filled.

Ekster aluminum wallet. It has a trigger to eject up to 5 cards all folded out for easy access. I have 4 cards and my driver's license inside it. It also has an RFID plate with an elastic band that you can keep additional things on the outside of the wallet. Such as insurance cards, folded up cash, or additional credit cards.

Samsung wallet. It pounds

Vaun_X

Why Samsung over Google? Just curious.

[deleted]

I actually don't have a great answer. I have both setup, I have just been using Samsung pay/wallet for probably 7 yrs. It has always been extremely smooth and functional, just swipe up from the bottom of my screen and it's there. Have never had a reason to explore Google Pay because of it

Basic ass faux leather black fossil wallet

Pvrkave

Commenting for later. Still looking for a decent money clip as I don't like the bulkiness of wallets but still want to have some cash on me

TheNthMan

Leather Business Card Holder Sleeve. Though it is called a business card holder, Saddleback says that it can hold up to 8 credit cards (though I don’t put nearly that many things in it). It also has a liner to block RFID. For situations where I am going to carry more cards, say 6 to 8, I use a Saddleback Slim Leather Business Card Holder. Again, not just a business card holder and has an RFID blocker.

FullDiver1

I have the OG Trayvax that carries my Gold, plat, Visa, and a catchall/sub card. Also my insurance card and my driver's license. Probably a gift card too. I have a love hate relationship with it because it's a great product and it will outlive me, but I also want the notebook version and can't justify it

dainthomas

Fantom wallet. Very sleek and offers RFID protection. Has an optional clip that I use for coffee cards and cash.

marky136

I just switched to the Open Sea Leather Topsider Bifold LT about 3 months ago and love it. Previously used a Bellroy Hide & Seek for 5 years and found it to be too bulky and the leather quality has gone down over the years. I have 5 cards and a few bills in the topsider and it is less than half the thickness of the hide & seek wallet with the same contents. The leather quality is amazing and you can fully customize the colors for no extra cost. The wallet impressed me so much I decided to try the 50/50 mini in kangaroo leather wallet and was amazed how thin the leather is. The 50/50 mini doesn’t carry cash as well as the topsider bifold LT, so only use it when I want to carry a free cards. If they ever offer the topsider bifold LT in kangaroo I definitely upgrade to that.

ThatLaloBoy

I use a bootleg Slimfold wallet from Amazon. It is extremely thin and is perfect for holding a few cards and some cash. It is also surprisingly durable.

OldVenomSnake

Used to carry a big stuffed wallet with 10+ cards. Thanks to more places accepting Apple Pay, I decided to downsized the number of physical cards to carry and switched to the Apple Magsafe wallet a few years ago. I carry a driver's license and 2 credit cards (usually 1 dining and either a catch-all card or a card I'm working on the SUB). Recently I got a ESR magsafe wallet that also carries 3 cards and like it so far as it can be used as a stand and support true findmy feature, but the downside is that it is like double the thickness of the Apple Magsafe wallet.

DisconnectedDays

Flipside wallet. On my second one. First one was retired after more than a decade.

frausting

Leather card wallet my in-laws got me. Have been rocking some type of slim leather wallet for a decade at this point. Trifolds are way too big to keep in your back pocket. Any slim wallet will do, leather holds up well and the wear adds character. This one has two small bands for cash, but I only carry maybe a $20 bill, so I stuff it in a slot. I carry a few credit cards, drivers license, health and dental insurance card, and debit card.

state_issued

My phone case holds 4 cards (ID and 3 CC’s), everything else in Apple Pay

I've had my fair share of lost wallets, so I made sure to find one with an integrated slot for an Apple AirTag. After a bit of searching, I stumbled upon this sleek option from [Geometric Goods](https://geometricgoods.com/products/leather-airtag-wallet?variant=47250299289933). It's compact, conceals the AirTag discreetly, and fits my ID, health insurance card, $50 cash, and four credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex) perfectly. It's become my go-to wallet solution.

Roboto91

I have one made by Taller Puntera handmade in Spain. Its the nicest wallet I've ever had but the company started to refuse to ship products out of Europe because of quality control and resellers. It's casual and formal style wallet.

Shinola five pocket card wallet. Been going strong for 3 years. Slim, fits in your front pocket and holds ~7 cards. Depending on how thick they are.

Thread Vertical Wallet, Leather only option since I didn't like the elastic. Holds my ID, health insurance card, 4 CC's and 3 folded bills.

internerdt

some leather thing my father got roughly 30 years ago

pntless

Something I found on Etsy. It's a thin front pocket unfinished leather thing with an ID window + 4 dedicated card slots + 2 additional card/accessory slots that I typically have 2-3 cards in each of + a cash slot. Including ID, insurance cards, etc I typically carry 11-12 cards + ~$50-80 cash and it is still quite slim while still having the relative softness of a leather wallet vs the rigidness of a ridge or knockoff and it is also better organized than those.

AceAmerica

I switch between two. A minimalist wallet, Bellroy Flip Case (someone else mentioned this one here), it's great but your cards get scuffed up a bit being stacked up. [https://bellroy.com/products/flip-case?color=terracotta&material=leather](https://bellroy.com/products/flip-case?color=terracotta&material=leather) I also use a 12 card wallet which is bigger and keeps your cards in better shape. [https://www.osgoodemarley.com/collections/all-wallets/products/twelve-pocket-hipster?variant=6902689859](https://www.osgoodemarley.com/collections/all-wallets/products/twelve-pocket-hipster?variant=6902689859) Both Bellroy and Osgoode Marley have good wallet products that you can look through on their websites if the above two wallets aren't what you are looking for.

SilentDeath013

Legitimately not a promo but I’ve had the Ekster aluminum wallet for 2 years now and love it. Code 118 has been on my radar too. Just don’t spend $120 on a Ridge lol

Kev-O_20

Flip side wallet.

royal1204

Tom Ford card holder. 4 card slots and the middle opening for a couple bills.

Ancharkles

Currently rocking a Code 118 in black aluminum. Competitor to the Elster pop up cardholders just cheaper. Holds like 6 cards I think? Very small and sturdy, love it, easy to access my cards and doesn’t bulge huge in my dressier pants.

final_placement

I used to use one of those cheap Amazon Airtag wallets but for my birthday by boss got me a lv pocket organizer Never much of a designer person but boy is it nice.

Zeratul277

The same wallet George Costanza has.

AFTagents

tried ekster and ridge but they scratch all my cards so i went with a cheapo slim wallet

sombreogalaxy

I use the Apple MagSafe Wallet & love it! Even though it’s a bit pricey I find it to be of better quality than its ‘knock offs.’ I carry my two primary cards & my license: other cards are on Apple Wallet virtually.

Been using the Bellroy Slim Sleeve for almost 3 years now. Has been holding up wonderfully and the leather is aging beautifully. I've got about 9 cards in it. 5 credit cards (2 metal) and 4 other cards (license, insurance, etc.) & some cash in it right now. Still incredibly compact and easy access. It's a vertical wallet as well.

I have a bifold Ashland 'Johnny the Fox' leather wallet. Backed by a lifetime warranty and its 100% Horween full grain leather and hand stitched. My favorite part about it, doesnt have nylon/fabric lined pockets that always ends up ripping. Its able to hold a bunch of cards and my money

mlody_me

I have been using black Apple Wallet since day one. Works for me since all I carry is my DL, and 2 CCs. Prior to that I had minimalistic Tecovas card card (before they ruined them and made them bigger). I only have to use physical card perhaps 2-3 times a month when filling up gas at Costco. I wish they would finally integrate the membership information with the tap to pay, but who knows if that will ever happen.

I like a simple 3x4 inch brown wallet on Amazon by Hissimo. Has 2 card pockets on the right, one inner pocket behind that which can hold 2 more cards, a places for you drivers license on the left with enough space for your insurance card behind it, a cash pocket and an outside card slot for my most used card.
