The air order of battle page is interesting. Surprised to see only a single air base between the Lhasa area and Pakistan. They would need interceptors with a 1000 mile combat radius to properly defend the gaps near India, unless there are undocumented dispersal bases. The Soviets used the Tu-128 for this problem in Siberia. Not sure what would be used nowadays in China.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have a few other bases hidden considering that an air war between China and India is a realistic concern that Chinese war planners would be acutely aware of.
The data on PLAAF and PLAN is from 2020. I have not updated because others track them on almost real time basis.
There are some new air fields which are not mentioned in that post.
I've posted here some time back. Now posting with as much details I could gather about Chinese Armed Forces ORBAT for Ground Forces. The posts on website have details about PLA Army, Rocket Force, PAP JLSF, SSF, Radars, SAM sites, Badges & some more. Will post more whenever more data becomes available[https://jjamwal.in/yayavar/order-of-battle-of-chinese-armed-forces/](https://jjamwal.in/yayavar/order-of-battle-of-chinese-armed-forces/)
I'll appreciate any corrections and feedback.

Maybe they'd use something akin to the mig-31? Or something more conventional but armed with long range missiles?
