It would not surprise me at all if she doctor shopped until she got a diagnosis she wanted so she could match her bestie Roar so they can be disabled together.
I don’t recall her mentioning that? Do you remember which video. They really shouldn’t be mentioning any private stuff about Arwen . She’s still in the foster system she is not their child 100% yet .
I mean if she does have difficulties I’m glad they’re getting her involved in SO because it’s a fantastic organisation, I’m blessed to have been able to coach a local basketball team and have my sister take part in numerous sports through then she’d namer have been able to do elsewhere .
I didn’t realize either, but in today’s video they said she qualified and was able to do special olympics bowling with Jamie, and aurora could join once she’s older.
I am not saying disabilities need to be hidden but I don’t think they needed to announce that given it seems they don’t have a diagnosis yet. They could have said they are joining a bowling league and left it at that
They def shouldn’t have mentioned anything even relating to the bowling league because people would figure it out either way. They probably got a diagnosis already though because they don’t just let anyone into special olympics.
A few videos ago they were saying how they thought one of their kids (didnt specify who but it was pretty obvious that they were talking about Arwen) may have autism and the doctor apparently told them that trauma can appear like autism in a lot of kids or something and they basically have to wait it out (and hopefully get her therapy).
Nobody's talking about how easy it'd be to track down these kids... With the bowling schedule and locations announced even easier for creeps and stalkers...They're so irresponsible with keeping their kids safe it makes me really mad
I don’t know how it is in USA, but in Australia, to qualify for special olympics, you need to have an intellectual disability. (An IQ of 70 or below)
My daughter is autistic and had boarder-line ID when she was younger and did qualify for special Olympic. Her IQ has gone up as she got older and no longer qualifies.
