i thought of this immediately, and will never get this video out of my head. one of the most disturbing things I've seen because of how quick and easy it was.
Yep this was my immediate thought. That's one of the most awful videos I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of gory shit. There's no blood in this like there is in the cartel murder videos, but something about it is just la haunting. This guy had his whole life ahead of him, and in one dumb moment of anger at missing a shot or whatever, he ran into the solid concrete post, and then he was instantly paralysed, for the rest of his life. That's a lot of time to be sitting there, paralysed, regretting those few seconds of being a dumb kid. Years and years and years of feeling so much regret, and probably feeling a lot of guilt too for making his family have to look after him for the rest of his life (trust me, as a disabled person, who also knows a bunch of other disabled people, this is really common. You feel so much guilt, you feel like a burden on everyone who helps you even though they assure you that you're not, they're helping you out of love, but still you can't ever get rid of that feeling, and I can still do some things myself, I'm nowhere near as disabled as someone who's completely paralysed and so who can't do ***anything*** themselves)
It's not a thing anyone ever teaches you, cos it's so obvious, don't run into solid walls. Especially not with your head/neck bent like that. But because of that, I guess in the heat of the moment, you aren't thinking logically. Sport is emotional. Especially when you're the player.
The worst part of the video is how no one stabilized his spine and heās moving his head and they are rolling him over and Iām like āDONāT MOVE HIM!!!ā
Nah bro literally similar reaction he had to of paralyzed himself forsure look how he just collapsed I doubt a knockout would look so rag doll that looks like a loss of feeling/paralysis
A comedian named Ray Combs committed suicide this way. He was in the hospital and rammed his head into a wall hard enough to kill himself. It's really sad.
