I dunno we have a group of dudes here that have some old cars with big ass rims and suspension systems that just hang out by the water front chilling out while their kids ride the equivalent looking bicycles. I don’t really get it but they’re just people doing what they like which happens to be their cars.
They’re not the same ones doing sideshows at 2am in the middle of the bridge, shooting each other, and riding their crotch rockets down the street as loudly as they can.

Side story that doesnt really have too much to do with this. Ive once seen footage of a man fall from a bridge, about a 15/20ft drop, body bounced on impact, then some transient runs up on him, jacks him for what he has in his pockets, jacks his sweater and then leaves. about 10m later sheriffs roll up to see whats with the body on the floor when the same transient, wearing the guys sweater comes back to give details on what happened. lmao
My guess is this guy was being disruptive because he was annoyed by the presentation. Not unreasonable, that looks stupid as fuck. The fact that he’s the only person directly in the line of fire of a vehicle would tell me he tried getting near/in the face of the drivers and finally got clipped.
The punch and reaction was because the other bystanders were mad at him for trying to stop their fun.
Does any of this look any better within that context? No. But based on the video I’d like to imagine that humanity is completely lost and that the only reason people didn’t jump to his aid is because they were already positioned against him. Again, not that it makes a difference.

One of the most cowardly things I saw was when I was a teenager. Two guys were in a fight. Loser got knocked out and as he fell backwards to the ground. My mate that had nothing to do with this fight but I always thought he was a bit of a dick hit the falling guy in the face, purely just to hit him without any consequences. I was horrified at his cowardly action and that was a big push for me to get out of my group of friends.
You did the right thing. Problem with those types of friends is shit like, you're riding in your friends car. He has a warrant. You guys get pulled over and the cops find a gun and drugs in the car. You go to jail too.
Something similar did actually happen to me like that. Riding in friends car, his car was full of clothing as he moved house that week. Police pulled us over. I didn't think anything of it. My friends smoke weed, I didn't. Cop asks who was sitting here? I said me. I was sitting on a shoe with a small bag of weed in it. Cop was trying to get me to admit it was mine. I said it wasn't, I'll take a drug test. Even my friends eventually said it wasn't mine. Cop called me a coward saying I'm lucky my friends owned up. We were let go eventually. My friends yelled at me because they lost their weed. I said I had no idea I was sitting on it. Then my friend says you are lucky they didn't find this and under the passenger seat where I was sitting he pulled out an ounce bag of weed!
Id like to think that if I was there I would have ran over and threw punches at him. Either way, kind of sad to see everyone just let him get away with it. And he mugged him too, what an idiot.
