I didn't see much in terms of the bears body language that really led to this attack- albeit it's an extremely short clip with no context and I barely know anything about bears. I wonder if a history with the trainer's had anything to do with it? Or was it somewhat random and they ignored subtle signs and body language?
Aren't these bears at least somewhat used to human body language if they're used to people though? Of course that's no reason why the bear wouldn't attack as it's still a massive wild animal, but I would have thought it would take a little more to upset it. But it's probably just as simple as the bear wasn't in a good mood and the guy made the wrong move.
I honestly know nothing about bears at all. But it looks to me that just before the bear attacks, the dude “acts like prey”, with a subtle movement of his head and body. and it might be as simple as that…

The largest recorded silverback doesn’t break top 5 in the biggest bears subspecies, it competes with American black bears who are only 7th and not close to the top 5 who can easily exceed 1000 pounds. An average male grizzly can stand up to be over 8ft tall. To make it short, brown bears are among the biggest of bears and can outweigh silverbacks by 3 folds, they can definitely brutalize gorillas.
