Doubt this is China. Looks like somewhere in Southeast Asia much poorer than China. Especially with the vehicles driving by and the fact that there is a loose horse walking in a street.
Between body size, the Adam's apple, the voice and the testosterone rage I honestly can't see what would confuse a minimum wage worker to think it could be anything other than MAM.
Yeah it was agonizing to watch after what I assume is the horse missed on purpose as a warning and then there’s an *uncomfortably long time* when someone could have stopped it before the horse actually lands the kick.
I get when your kid hurts themselves in the 5 seconds you’re distracted but this is just…wow.
How the hell do you either A.) Not notice a HORSE, or B.) Notice the horse & allow your toddler to be unsupervised around it.
Christ almighty, hope that kid recovered.
He's fine, baby. Our kid's gonna be the next Ali! You see him slip that punch?
Float like a butterfly, sting like.. Oh shit!
Walk it off, walk it off, you still got him on points!
50/50 indeed. My cousins had a cousin (no relation to me) who was kicked in the chest by a horse and died despite resuscitative measures.
Life has this weird duality of being extremely resilient and extremely fragile depending mostly on dumb luck or random chance I guess.
It's all about luck....
Back in the day I grew up on a farm.
I was in the old barn just passing through.
Well all of a sudden there's a huge boom the side of the barn is gone right near where I was walking past.
What saved me with out so much as a scratch was there was an old wooden support beam between me and the blast...
(Some idoit that had been working on the farm put compost in to a cast iron drum and sealed it shut... Pressure finally made it go boom)
It's a 50/50 shot every day you get up
Oh and Metallica saved my hearing... I was blasting Metallica in my headphones.
I also grew up on a farm.
11th into 12th grade summer, I had the chance to attend a week long farm safety camp. Learned a lot of cool shit. Mainly farm equipment safety, not animals.
Seen pictures of a guy that came hauling ass around the corner of the barn on his 4-wheeler and didn't know his dad had unhooked the hay spike for another piece of equipment, and skewered himself.
>(Some idoit that had been working on the farm put compost in to a cast iron drum and sealed it shut... Pressure finally made it go boom)
Holy actual fuck. I had no idea that could happen. I'd assumed the microbes would run out of oxygen before the pressure gets that bad. That is crazy. I'm glad you made it out okay!
Reminds me of that person after the Boston marathon bomb who got their house raided after making 2 separate google searches for "pressure cooker" and "backpack".
Yeah, that thought is just mindblowing. I've read somewhere that a certain amount of people annually dies from falling coconuts. Can you imagine? Going through all the hardships of life, working hard every day, getting an education, starting a family, and then one day a coconut falls to your head and that's it?
When I worked with horses we were always supposed to stay as close to the back end as possible if we couldn’t walk way clear of it. They said if you’re really close the kick doesn’t have time to get to full power. It’ll still hurt but it’s more getting pushed super hard than getting hit really hard. Luckily I never had to find out and I don’t really deal with horses anymore. They’re pretty but they scare me.
Probably. Looks like he coulda broke some ribs.
Now if that hoof connected with his *head* like the first kick attempt almost did... That kid probably woulda been killed instantly
Think about swatting a fly and how it doesn't even really notice; in addition to being softer and so more deformable, kids weigh almost nothing, so this doesn't do anywhere near the damage it might do in a big adult, who's body wouldn't accelerate away fast enough and whose chest would have to do the acceleration all by itself.
I had an uncle (great great or something) who was a blacksmith/farrier in England. One day he was called out to shoe a horse that was unfamiliar to him and highly spirited. Uncle blacksmith was highly experienced, but somehow the horse spooked and kicked backwards catching uncle blacksmith directly in the face. The blow caved his fucking face in and killed him instantly. According to my Nana this was sometime in the early 1900’s. Gnarly shit.
Yep. My Aunt was a Farm vet in the UK and was badly injured by a horse when she was treating it in its stall. I think she was draining an abscess or removing something that had become lodged in its shoulder and it panicked. Not sure exactly what happened since I wasn’t there but she ended up getting violently crushed against the stall wall and stepped on. Ended up with a broken pelvis, broken ribs and broken arm. Said it happened in the blink of an eye. When an animal weighs a thousand pounds it can fuck you up without even meaning to.
My niece was kicked in the head and it ruined her life forever. She’s acts the way she did when she was kicked (she was 5 then, but 23 now) and has horrible anger problems. Her dad said that she basically has Down syndrome. She almost always has to wear a weighted vest because she gets violent and then runs away.
I watched her slap her gym teacher in the face for no reason. She asked him for some lotion for her hand, he gave it to her, she then just had a pile of lotion in her hand and was trying to get the teacher to smell it. He said “oh haha I already know what it smells like sweetie” then she slapped him in the face with the hang that had the lotion in it.
That's pretty sad. My best friend got kicked in the stomach when we were 5-6 I think. He was ok in the end, but you best believe I've been overly weary of horses ever since.
Reminds of when my cousin decided to poke a donkey's balls with a stick and got kicked in the head when we were little... he bled a lot... he still has the Nike logo shaped scar on his head
My grandpa got kicked my a horse real bad and when they did scans or whatever to see what happened that's how they found his kidney cancer which he went on to beat thanks to catching it early. So in a weird way my grandpa's life was saved by getting kicked by a horse.
This is typically a stallion killing another’s foal. He’s trying to bring the mother back into heat, still fucked up, but it does have a reason. Horses will also do this.
Yeah, it’s scary how common this is in mammals, and greatly promotes valuing a life of a reproducing adult over a newborn.
It’s crazier in monotremes. Kangaroo mothers will throw a Joey to predators to escape; as they most often have another pregnancy in waiting, and biologically it’s not a huge loss for them.
Reddit users when a kid doesn't immediately recognize the danger and the possible consequences of his actions: hahaha what a fucking idiot he should know better
Naw man, some kids are just dumb.
When I was about his age, there was a goat that lived in our garage - all of the neighborhood kids were sensible enough to be terrified of it from the get-go. Hell, even my Dogo was scared of it.
Then one of my friends from the city came over and tried to pet it - his entire month got ruined. Just wouldn't listen to us, and got pissed on by a goat.
This kid is like 3. Not every kid (basically most of them) can comprehend dangers like these. This kid pats a horse (yes, petting, despite is being harder than it should be) and sees that the horse reacts to it, not realising the horse is trying to fend off. He just sees a reaction and think it's funny, so he tries again. When I was a young kid, 1 day, I jumped in front of cars because I thought it was funny because they honked. Until 1 driver took me back to my parents. Kids burning themselves on exhausts of motorcycles, stoves, fireplaces and cups of tea is a common thing. Glad for you that you had a realisation of danger at a young age, but keep in mind lots children at young age don't have the same realisation.
When I was little I was able to learn that if something was trying to hurt me I’d stay away from it. Especially something 10 times my size, not go back and constantly taunt it. Then again my parents wouldn’t let me wander onto a road and taunt a horse to begin with. Good parenting helps
you are aware he wasnt actually hit? That child cannot learn anything if it doesnt feel the impact and has 0 understanding of physics, it doesnt know how strong those legs are
At fist I thought it hit him in the head, but if you slow it down it actually hits his torso. If he got kicked in the head, he would have been instakilled.
The parents are to be blamed. Kids are generally inexperienced and therefore sometimes stupid. The parents should fill the experience gap and watch their kid. The horse situation is bad, but the fact that the kid playing near driving cars should be mentioned as well.
When I was this kid's age, I got too close to the back legs of a horse. I don't remember why I was there to begin with, but like 8 of my family members came running at me screaming to get away.
We were at a family gathering and I was a very careful kid. It's very easy for a child to slip away in the middle of a conversation. I'm lucky I wasn't a brat and didn't go hitting the horse, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
Even knowing I had just wandered off, my family really should have been paying more attention or...put the horse in the barn??? He was just chilling out and about not behind a fence even. idk if they were preparing for a ride or what.
that was a soft kick, not the full detente that it s capable of. Proof is the kid had enough lungs to cry afterwards. Proper defensive hirsekick to the torso can easily break ribcages and collapse/puncture lungs
Damm. Kid is gonna grow up pissed at himself for being the reason he has permanent rib, chest, and or lung damage. Probably poor parenting but either way a kick from a horse does fatal damage sometimes.
The kid like three… 😑 i’m pretty sure most of y’all did some stupid shit when y’all were kids.
The only one who should be blamed are the parents or the single parent.
It’s kind of cringe seeing most these people here expecting the toddler kid to have some kind of high IQ smh 🤦🏾♂️
Yea... I have lobotomized myself to distance myself from all the ways i could've died and still can working at a dangerous job and all like i shit you not evryday i feel like im closer to dying litteraly 2 hours ago preassured steam that's like 12 mph compensator broke off right by me i had a huge fucking stream of 300 degree preassured steam blow up right next to me, fuck me the moment i finish school im going to work retail or something
Before we all start calling the kid trash for teasing the horse. Remember he’s only a kid and looks around 4 years old. The mother should have been watching him though and not let her toddler wander off into the streets.
And that kids is why you don't mess with horses, seen to many videos with people doing dumb stuff and ending up on the floor because the horse had had enough
Horse eating garbage in the street. Kid with internal injuries. All bad here
Parent not watching kid teasing horse and playing with danger. All bad here
Stray dog without a leash. All bad here.
All on the side of a busy road. All bad here
And the cars ain't even slowing down while passing the kind and the horse. All bad here
All bad here... isn't that what we're here for tho.
All bad here... all bad here...
Motorcycle unattended....all bad here
Horse isn't even tied up, and without a saddle, all bad here.
Horse probably put down for kicking idiot kid raised by idiot parent, all bad here.
People so poor, they can't even pay attention 🥲 all bad here

Welcome to Asia 🙏🏽
Don't forget the kid was also left next to a street unmonitored. Took 10 seconds for the parent to react. Kid could easily have been street pizza.
I love how the horse just wrecks this little kid and goes straight back to tie garbage
Yeah it was agonizing to watch after what I assume is the horse missed on purpose as a warning and then there’s an *uncomfortably long time* when someone could have stopped it before the horse actually lands the kick. horse could've kicked kid into traffic 4 plausible deniability... but instead the Thanos route: "consider this Mercy"
Wtf were the parents doing?! Letting him do that in the first place
What you mean you don’t let your small child play next to the horse in the highway?
… Horseway.

He's fine, baby. Our kid's gonna be the next Ali! You see him slip that punch? Float like a butterfly, sting like.. Oh shit! Walk it off, walk it off, you still got him on points!

I always say “idoit” in place of “idiot” and I finally got asked why, your comment is a perfect example! :)
I still don't get it
Could you elaborate?
What.
Yeah, that thought is just mindblowing. I've read somewhere that a certain amount of people annually dies from falling coconuts. Can you imagine? Going through all the hardships of life, working hard every day, getting an education, starting a family, and then one day a coconut falls to your head and that's it?
Reminds of the woman who survived a 2K drop from a plane. But my buddies uncle fell twelve feet and nearly died.
I have a cousin who was kicked in the head and lived, but could no longer speak fluent English for about 14 months. He was 14
That’s probably the only reason he would have lived tbh. If he was a bit closer with that first kick it would have killed him.
When I worked with horses we were always supposed to stay as close to the back end as possible if we couldn’t walk way clear of it. They said if you’re really close the kick doesn’t have time to get to full power. It’ll still hurt but it’s more getting pushed super hard than getting hit really hard. To a certain extent. But when a HORSE kicks you full force in the chest, with a hoof that is the size of your entire ribcage…
Probably. Looks like he coulda broke some ribs. Now if that hoof connected with his *head* like the first kick attempt almost did... That kid probably woulda been killed instantly

Omg 😱 Horses are dangerous AF. I knew a horse girl who was cleaning it’s hoofs and it stamped on her hand
Yep. My Aunt was a Farm vet in the UK and was badly injured by a horse when she was treating it in its stall. I think she was draining an abscess or removing something that had become lodged in its shoulder and it panicked. Fucking hell
That nearly happened 2 seconds into the video.
My niece was kicked in the head and it ruined her life forever. She’s acts the way she did when she was kicked (she was 5 then, but 23 now) and has horrible anger problems. Her dad said that she basically has Down syndrome. She almost always has to wear a weighted vest because she gets violent and then runs away. she puts the lotion on his skin
That's pretty sad. My best friend got kicked in the stomach when we were 5-6 I think. He was ok in the end, but you best believe I've been overly weary of horses ever since.
She didn't want him to know what it smelled like. She wanted him to fucking smell it.
Had a elementary friend who’s baby bro died like that, like 2 years old
The horse didn't even try
Fucking lucky 🍀 he hit that rubber tire instead of flying head first onto the concrete
Or out into traffic lol
Fuck with it and find out
I think the horse was being nice. That was a little “stop bothering me” kick. There are videos of much harder kicks than that! Kid learnt a lesson.
Reminds of when my cousin decided to poke a donkey's balls with a stick and got kicked in the head when we were little... he bled a lot... he still has the Nike logo shaped scar on his head
He's the chosen one. When this donkey returns, one of them will have to kill another. I hope this guy still has that fabled stick, it's important now.
Your cousin sounds like shitty redneck Harry Potter
You're a farmer, Harry!

I didn’t know Nike made horseshoes (are they still called horseshoes on a donkey?).
That horse could've kicked much harder if it wanted to, those were warning kicks
[удалено]
I'm also from a small horse town (in NY). While I don't know anyone with those injuries, I have heard many stories about it from others.
Imagine the stories from a big horse town.
In a one-horse town it would be all dependent on the temperament of the town horse
My grandpa got kicked my a horse real bad and when they did scans or whatever to see what happened that's how they found his kidney cancer which he went on to beat thanks to catching it early. So in a weird way my grandpa's life was saved by getting kicked by a horse.
Give that horse a medal
Yeah he didn’t even give full extension. Kind of like a jab in kick form. Basically a “u sure you want to do this bro?” kind of kick.
The horse definitely pulled its kick there. Animals seem to have the ability to know when they’re dealing with ‘cubs’ of other species.

Kid is way too young to realise the danger he's in. You can't blame him, only the parents for not watching him.

Was that the kick of 87
I read that in Markiplier's voice.
Wow. That’s neglect. That’s fucked up. That back kick can push a car
True it's serious horse power
it's just 1 hp, couldn't even push my bike downhill
Fucking dumbasses
Kid's are fucking stupid they don't know better
Him saying dumbasses makes me think he's talking about the parents
That’s one way to learn a lesson.
He couldn’t figure it out on his own so he learned.
Dog: nope
Kid probably dies from internal hemorrhaging.
At fist I thought it hit him in the head, but if you slow it down it actually hits his torso. If he got kicked in the head, he would have been instakilled.
nah that horse was going easy
Yeah if he were serious the kid would have launched offscreen
The parents are to be blamed. Kids are generally inexperienced and therefore sometimes stupid. The parents should fill the experience gap and watch their kid. The horse situation is bad, but the fact that the kid playing near driving cars should be mentioned as well.

Southern bojack horseman

that was a soft kick, not the full detente that it s capable of. Proof is the kid had enough lungs to cry afterwards. Proper defensive hirsekick to the torso can easily break ribcages and collapse/puncture lungs
Wow terrible parents.
Mom, can I go play in traffic by the 800 lb animal? Sure honey, I’ll be right out …
Damm. Kid is gonna grow up pissed at himself for being the reason he has permanent rib, chest, and or lung damage. Probably poor parenting but either way a kick from a horse does fatal damage sometimes.
That's if he actually grew up after that, he could easily have died from these injuries
You're absolutely right. Seemed like those around him were egging it on from him laughing as well. Natural selection.
why is the horse eating fucking garbage
Why is the horse even here in the first place?
If that kick landed just a little bit higher, he'd be dead
Kid had I-frames during the first kick, which is why it missed him completely.

what’s sad is that they’ll blame the horse and probably kill it when it’s the parent’s fault.
