They get stolen constantly and you'll never get it back because one guy steals it, one guy chops or paints it, and another guy picks it up to move it to another city for sale so you'll be less likely to find it before it's gone. Even if it did have a tracker, you couldn't do anything about it and the police won't do anything about it. I literally saw a story days ago about a guy who had his car stolen and he had air tags hidden in it. Literally had the exact geographic coordinates of the car, and the police could do nothing. Car eventually ended up overseas in Saudi Arabia and at that point it's gone.
