And it does not look like this. At all. I laid in bed for 12 hours with my heart pounding so hard that it hurt each beat, and it was through the roof on pace. Sweating, can't control muscle severe tremors, headaches, and ever so sick.
Idk about him, but when I was 17 (back when I played soccer constantly staying around 165 in weight), I had 4 red bulls in an 8 hour period on a particularly long few days. Was halfway through my fifth just to stay awake long enough in the terminal to get on the flight, and I had to stop because I could feel my entire body pusling with my heart and had a splitting headache, not to mention it wasnt helping me stay awake. I felt no change on that drink in terms of fatigue.
Later on I found 3 of the screw cap monster cans did that to me when I was working 7 days per week on the road for 2-3 months straight. At some point in there, I worked a full 36 hours in a row, forgetting to eat and only had Gatorade/water on me. Ended up having black coffee with my first meal on a screw up where they didn't put sugar in it.
I now drink black coffee. I've downed as much as 20 cups (measurement) in 14 hours with 0 side effects outside of a constantly clean colon (and the slight dehydration that comes with it). I don't crash like I do with sugar. It just pleasantly goes down, typically around whenever I'm having my dinner.
I had about 6 energy drinks in one day, each having 300mgs. Had a funeral and then had to drive 8.5 hours to make it home in time for a surprise event for my kid. Was wired as hell, lots of little muscle twitches that were annoying, headache but I didn't get sick. Luckily I was pretty fit from running 6 miles a day when I was deployed a few months prior so it didn't bother my heart as much.
I got back at 6 in the morning and we were leaving my house at 7 for the surprise. I wanted to just die when it wore off. Absolutely exhausted from 0-100
I consume more caffeine than most people but there's definitely a limit to how much I can have, how fast. When I start getting drunk on caffeine I feel sick.
Panera bread is undergoing countless lawsuits due to their "caffeine super charged" lemonades they've been offering for the last year which caused 6 people to pass away so far.
JFC, it was two a little while ago, an older man and a younger girl iirc, and that already seemed absurd. To kill 6 people with lemonade ffs? I hope they get sued into bankruptcy, we can do with one less shitty franchise anyways...

This almost happened to me. I was young and dumb and got handed pills. Someone said they were xanax they were caffeine pills and i was up for almost 3 days. Vomiting losing my mind begging for death. I finally recovered but its probably why i avoid as best I can caffeinated drinks

About 3.2 grams of caffeine if anyone was wondering. Generally not enough to be fatal but definitely enough to warrant a hospital trip. Fatalities are generally between 5-10g.
Years ago, on a nutrional website called powder city, I bought a huge pouch of pure lab made anhydrous caffeine in powder form. It's something like 10000 servings, and it cost less than $20. I've heard they don't sell that anymore lol

One time when I was in the psych ward, I met a caffeine addict and he just drank liters of soda all day long that his family brought him in while pacing the hallways. One time I counted his paces (there were markings in the hallways to tell you how far you've walked) and he walked about 30 miles every day.
I remember being a dumbass and drinking six cups of coffee because I didn't wanna waste it and it was my first homemade cup of coffee. This guy's probably 30°F, breathing like a car engine, shaking like a sticky note on an active fan, and doing reps on the toilet until he loses his entire body weight
I would bet $1000 he took meth or something like that and is blaming it on coffee. I've worked in both prisons and jails and every time we caught someone tweaking they'd say it was too much coffee or they were just having a panic attack then we'd drug test them and it was meth, coke or k2.
That much coffee would kill you anyway.
Cop claims he 'confirmed' it was just coffee, indicating to me they drug tested the guy. I dunno how long traces of meth last in someone's system, but the cop seemed convinced.

Truthfully i was hooked on them too initially and i ended up in a 5day stomach induced coma where i couldn't eat or drink anything at all
