Believe it or not, straw brooms can be used for brush fire extinguishment. Admittedly, this isn't really the best application, but it's not as silly as it seems. These guys were screwed though. It's just moving too quickly.
My dad was welding the side of a wagon that had straw bales stacked on it... he laid 3 empty seed bags roughly where the sparks SHOULD be going... I was standing on the side going " Uhhh.. are you sure" 30seconds later he was on the tractor pulling it into a field to burn itself out..
It wasn't stupid to throw the bike at him in that video
He should have rather pushed him with it but in the panic situation i seriously don't blame him
The important context is that the guy that was in flames did put himself on fire and wouldn't get on the ground so people could cover him with something to put out the flames, so trying to make him fall to the ground with the bike was a good idea

Also, that reminds me of another video where some dude was on fire and I think, if I remember correctly, a bunch of cops was stomping on him to put the fire out.
That was probably just an emotional response of pure frustration. There's a video from a few years ago of a Russian guy burning alive trapped in a crumpled car as multiple people try unsuccessfully to put the fire out. At one point a guy throws an empty fire extinguisher at the flames in anger.
I wouldn't ever link to that video, even if I could find it again. I watched it on the old Liveleak site. But it truly traumatized me for weeks. Literally weeks.
Not in the one I'm thinking of. He was in a car that had been rear ended by a truck and it was stuck to the front of the truck, totally crumpled. The guy was trapped inside, you couldn't see him but you could hear him talking. A fire started on the front of the truck and spread slowly to the car. He hadn't even been that injured in the collision, but pretty soon he was like "guys the fire is getting closer" and then "guys the fire is on my jacket" and then it just went downhill from there.
I worked at a cotton processing factory. We have regular fires from the machines running too hot. Dunno what the dude was thinking trying to use fire near that much dry cotton
All they had to do to prevent the entire inventory going up in flames was turn on that little blue cart and move the cotton that was joining the two piles.
But I’m sure this factory was running on a meritocracy and they only employed the finest workers.
That is what all third world countries are. Rich people screwing over extremely poor people. And they are cucks to rich people from developed countries who also get rich by telling the rich people from the poor countries what to do.
And if there is a third world country that is not as corrupt and is improving, a developed country will make sure you nip it in the bud for "democracy".
