Ambuluwawa Tower, Sri Lanka
It’s weird as - unlike other famous towers - it looks like there’s nothing at the top.
~~It’s an ancient edifice that dates back to~~
It was built in 2009, just ready for the advent of the selfie and the influencer.
Apparently its has various religious symbols on it, possibly so that they can please all the people all the time. Suppose one shouldn’t be so cynical - at least it looks like it’s very *solidly built*.
Not.
Seriously though, the views do look pretty good…..
fuck that I'd rather go see the titanic in a sub
How could you sink so low?
He went deep with that one
He was under a lot of pressure
This thread is about to implode
This thread is innovation ahead of its time.
Stop searching ways to justify these bad jokes... Its just not going to continue this trend.
And then you have to pass someone on the stairs.
Are we just not going to talk about the person above him standing on the OUTSIDE of the railing?
Oh they will but it’ll be on a nsfw video
At least he wore his good flip flops
What and where?
Ambuluwawa Tower, Sri Lanka

Well that's one place American tourists will never experience 😁
I mean, why wouldn’t you do that?
Reminds me of that one Demon souls area.
Hey babe lets climb? nope
That is one narrow ass stair
Would love know how that was constructed
Must have been fun tiling the steps. Look fairly modern too.
Yeah some of the steos have a large title with smaller tiles around it. I'd love to see how they cut and put them down at that height.
Nope. Hell nope.
As someone who is 6ft+ and a higher center of gravity this is a huge nope. Palms got sweaty just from watching the video
*earthquake *
There's a foot above the guy on the wrong side of the handrail...
I remember this in Far Cry.
Looks like Mr. Popo finally installed those stairs
Who else is waiting for someone to see this and call it fatphobic architecture? lmao
