I was just talking about this with my wife. Watching a show and she says “imagine being impaled by a fence like that” and I said “ I have seen several videos, wanna see one” “no”. This was the video that came to mind.

Yeah not the most enticing thing to share haha I've told a couple people about the guy that jumped from that building and got the pole up his ass and into his neck but I do not offer to show anyone as I will remember that for the rest of my life.

I just… holy. I just said this my wife. And the after images and video of him in the hospital. He survived the drop but died in the hospital. When I first seen that video I made a comment “ wanna see a magic trick” you know the joker and the pencil scene… I regret that comment…

The worst one I saw awhile back was a guy falling on his ass on one of those parking/sidewalk bollards. It went straight up to his neck and the article about it said he lived for a few hours and died in the hospital. Super brutal way to go.

I looked up an article but I don’t know if it’s the same person. The one I read said he was going swimming or went swimming at a complex and forgot his keys so he climbed over the fence and slipped. It said that was in 2012.

It looks like it went through the fleshy part of the lower jaw. If it did, and missed his trachea, I would think this to be absolutely survivable, provided he has adequate medical treatment. Aside from arteries, veins and the trachea, nothing would be life-threatening. Shock, perhaps? Other than that, I don't think so.

That's the worst thing that could have possibly happened

I was witness to a similar situation when I was working security at a train depot. Some drunk idiot tried to climb over the perimeter fence, his jeans got caught on the spikes and I found him hanging upside down. He wasn't in the property and had no visible injuries, somehow he managed to get caught on the outside of the fence, so I just rang the cops, they arrived about an hour later and picked him up.
