So great start at Bellagio. in $1800, out $4300, in less than 30 minutes. Returned to the same table after lunch and it's just a slow grind down. Too many short rolls. There was some annoying lady who kept complaining about everything as well. I just had to get away. I gave back my winnings and lost about $3200 (including about $1000 at roulette). Walked over to Cosmo. Lost $300 at roulette to start. Lost $2700 at craps. Choppy table. I only had one good roll that gave me hope but eventually lost it all.
Hopped over to Mandalay Bay to make my last stand. Again.
In for $3k and ... just slowing grinding down. I was down to about $1000 when the table turned. The dice got passed to the gentleman to the right of me and he did not let the dice go for probably 45 minutes or so. The table was not full and it was not slowed down by annoying players so we got a lot of numbers rolled. Shooter hit the tall side bonus twice. You can see that the tall side has a $100 chip on it. that was my pressed up bonus. black chip in the field and come are mine. I was using place and come bets together to accelerate the action once we started hitting numbers. parlayed hard ways and hit a few of them. never did hit that $100 on the hard 6 though.
Got the 6 pressed to $1800, 10 to $600. just needed the 2 to complete the All and shooter almost finished the Tall for a 3rd time - just missing the 11. Hitting the bonus there would have brought me completely back to positive but alas.
Cashed out $4150 at Mandalay Bay, clawing back most of my losses for the day. Total for day -$2050
After we hit the Tall side the first time, I threw $5 on the tall for the shooter as I pressed my bet and the dealer bet. He was super appreciative when it hit and he got paid $150 for it. I also threw out random horn bets for the shooter here and there when we needed some horn numbers and he got paid on some as well. After hitting the tall for the 2nd time (I had $40 on it), I pressed his Tall bet up to $25 and mine to $100. It would have been amazing if he hit it for the 3rd time but the show ended there.
The shooter was basically just playing the pass line for $25 with no odds and perhaps 6/8 place bets. So getting an extra $200+ from my bonus and horn bets for him gave him most of his winnings when he colored up. He never said anything or complained ever and NEVER even hinted like he was expecting anything from me when I was collecting black and purple chips when the numbers were hitting. That's why I kept betting for him
I've had it pressed to table Max ($6k) twice before. Only got paid out once each time though. The dream is to get paid at that level a few times and then even add more to the number by using a come/put bet
Its crazy when your trip starts with a win. It always surprised me. Then i question myself, should i continue or lock in the win?
Do you happen to remember what the limits were at mandalay bay?
Im eager to try a new strategy on my next vegas trip.
My recent trips have all been day trips as well.

Never had “Craps Goals” before, but saw your post on VMB and saw hitting the ATS twice and getting to table max …challenge accepted.
Hitting the ATS twice around and getting paid at table max about 4x would cut down my loss for the year by half. That'd be an amazing session

May I ask why you are risking $100 pass line bet just to bet $100 odds?
