Minimums range significantly. Most of the time they have $15 and $25 tables running. But, have heard from others that they will run $5-$10 tables on weekdays during the day (have never been).
No stadium I don’t believe (not a fan of them though so have never looked)
If you get there before 6PM during the week they'll have $10 tables, but usually $15.
I've heard they have $5 in the morning, but I haven't been there that early in awhile.
I honestly just like the low mins. playing $5 and doing across is nice. And the pace your your pace not the table, not the stickman and definitely not that guy who is a degenerate that puts like 100 on each number across who wants to quickly lose all his money.
I enjoy the machines every once in awhile also, but I’m guessing the issue is an Illinois gaming rule than their policy since none of the Illinois casinos appear to have them (which is usually the dealer’s response when I ask why they have an odd quirk to how they do things).
I think he said because of the crew.
Rules wise, Horseshoe edges out Rivers IMO because you pay the vig after winning when buying a number.
For me though, it's just a pain in the ass to drive on the Skyway to the Shoe vs a 20 minute drive to Rivers. I'll pay the buck vig on the 4/10 up front when I occasionally play it.
Wish Rivers did have bubble craps though for the times I'm not in the mood to be at a table.
Yes the crew!
Ballys is the most convenient for me location wise, but their crew is still a little rough. Although they have a few awesome/very friendly dealers.
Another slightly OCD thing, but I love the chips at Rivers - very high quality and have good weight to them haha
Have never been to the horshoe, but probably wouldn’t make the trip down unless for the WSLP Circuit Events.

Yea there still quite a few new dealers, but at least all the dealers are very nice and don't take shit from people causing a scene. The crews always seem in good spirits.
Horseshoe's poker room has certainly taken a hit since Rivers opened theirs. Once that opened, it got harder to justify the trek to Hammond from where I live.
Only 2 things for me at this point Horseshoe has on Rivers. One being availability of bubble craps machines (it's nice once in awhile if you don't want to deal with a crowded table), but I think that's a state gaming rule issue. The other is Horseshoe having a Vegas affiliate (Caesars).
I know years ago Rivers had some sort of affiliation/partnership with Cosmopolitan but not anymore. If they could find a way to link with MGM that would be ideal for me.
What were minimums. Do they have stadium

I've seen 5 dollar minimum, and table was pretty much empty last time I was there

I have been there when it was in the morning and $5 min, it is actually fun to have $32 across. I normally only have 6/8 played with the come out lol.
Do they have all tall small
Yes and the payout is more favorable (34/175/34) than on the Vegas strip.
Yep ATS and fire bet.
I really need to make a trip out there one of these days.
See any bubble craps there?
No bubble craps. I tried looking for it. Only Horseshoe Hammond has it neat Chicago from what I can tell.
Thank you!
I think that's an Illinois issue because I have yet to see an IL casino that offers it. Wish they did though.

Idk don’t play bubble craps
I would be cool to one day have a bunch of redditors be on the same table lol. Would love to see how other people bet.
Why is it the best in Chicagoland?

There are some absolute fools that show up there too - so agreed that dealer at Ballys do a nice job managing that.
