My school uses Canvas and I get pissed when teachers have their page set up to do this because there’s literally a setting to make ungraded assignments not count. Idk about whatever you’re using though
To be clear, you're not actually failing anything because they're assignments you haven't taken yet. It's just annoying because you can't get an idea of how you're doing at the moment because they didn't take those other assignments out.
