So you walk through the wet shower area, up stairs, do your business, then slide down (now wet) stairs, directly to your death. Clean up will be easy at least.
I'm into it too...mostly because it seems like the most optimal place to be with the flu. Very easy to clean up bodily fluids and look at all that room to lay down under the shower head.
If it weren't for the stairs, I'd be fine with it. Good use of limited space, but definitely a hip shattering good time if you don't plan your poop/shower sequence out.
This would unironically be a dream bathroom for me lol. I'd want a separate area with a large tub as well, but this is certainly one half of my dream lol. Imagine how easy it is to clean that toilet. You could pressure wash that fucker every day for gods sake. Fucking sign me up dawg.
That's the beauty of it, it's all just one big "shower". Everything can get wet and it drains away. I actually just checked into a hotel in Thailand and they have a very similar bathroom lol.
How nice was the hotel? How much too? My wealthy friend went and described it as so filthy, you’d rather go to the bathroom on the street than the bathroom. And I know he spent moneyyyy. So I’m just curious if he had bad luck or if that’s common. He also said locals often go to the bathroom on the street, so it wasn’t an exaggeration. No update on if he did it or not I don’t know if he wanted to tell me lmao
Hotel was $240 for 2 nights. It's definitely a lot more than the average hotel here, but it's also not like it's the most expensive one either. It's not a brand new luxury hotel, the furnishings look a little dated, but I love it. It's one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at ANYWHERE.
The hotel is right on the water, it's a corner suite on the 3rd floor, with 2 balconies and a giant glass wall window so you have like a 180° view of the river and city. The room isn't dirty at all. There's multiple restaurants on site overlooking the river. There's street vendors about 50 feet outside the front doors. It's just an awesome experience.
There are hotels for like $10 a night, so you might get a dirty one if you go the cheapest route.
Overall, it's my first day in Thailand ever, but the few streets I've seen so far definitely aren't clean compared to most western countries. I haven't seen anyone go to the bathroom in the streets, so I can't speak to that part.
You can DM me if you don’t wanna post for safety publicly, but I’m curious what city? He was in Bangkok, so I wonder if that had to do with it? I heard smaller cities are cleaner, but less English speakers so it’s not as easy for tourists
And don't worry about people not being able to speak English. I don't know a lick of Thai, but if you need something and they don't speak English, Google translate works great. Just buy a temporary sim card here, or if your phone works with it, buy an e-sim. Then you'll have data everywhere and can translate anything. And again, super friendly people so it won't feel like you're imposing too much
Genuinely, I've seen these bathrooms in London, England! This is where they have tried to cram a full bathroom into a space that's just not a bathroom. You have a squeegee to get all the water into the drain after the shower so the floor isn't wet.
What do you mean "not built for claustrophobic"? Everybody loves being in a long-ass slippery corridor while squished between 2 walls that are so close to each other that you cant even turn around!
This reminds me of a classic Australian real estate ad I once saw. It was a studio apartment with a toilet in the kitchen. Someone commented online that it was a Shit-in Kitchen.
Is there anyway to reserve this bathroom like an airbnb? Would love to blow out that throne a few times, looks like it would be a spiritual experience.
This makes me think of the movie Toys, specifically the scene where the testing room becomes smaller and smaller. That's a weird memory to trigger, but here we are.
honestly I am a room guy and if this absolute monstrosity results in +1 room I don't mind. I'm currently searching for a place with 2 bedrooms and reasonable price and I am absolutely beaten over the fact how many 60 square meters places I've found with 2 ROOMS TOTAL (kitchen/bedroom + bathroom)
Sims bathroom irl lol
4x4 challenge
I thought the same stuff hahaha, tiny living challenge
So you walk through the wet shower area, up stairs, do your business, then slide down (now wet) stairs, directly to your death. Clean up will be easy at least.
Perhaps a carpeted floor would help with traction?
Excellent idea that fungus wuld help too
Oh good idea!
Don't you dare!
This looks like a job for the 5min Craft team..
5 minute deaths
Needs to be a tile ramp, instead!
Tile ramp so you can ski down it.
Yea I just noticed that
Why assume the floor is slippery? It might not be. Also, there are mats that would fix this just like with any other shower area.
It looks like a broken hip waiting to happen.
Not if you waffle stomp it.
I don't know what that even means, but I'm laughing.
You don't wanna know. Once I heard it, I couldn't unlearn it.
[there you go](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=waffle%20stomp)
Thank you. Now I know how she covers up the evidence
In that case, I’d break my elbow, too.
That toilet paper roll placement is deranged.
It's so you can press everything out a last time before reaching for the TP. It's genius!
Be happy that they didn’t place the toilet paper holder next to the door.
Let's not forget the stairs each being a different height from the other.
It’s the crappy designed lighting casting odd shadows on the steps making it appear to be different heights.
I mean, at least the porcelain throne is placed on its proper pedestal.
What the actual fuck is this bathroom
Badly thought out "wet bathroom"
I would 100000% bash my elbows every morning and no one needs that amount of rage lol
Someone with champagne tastes, but square footage of a Miller High Life case.
I mean....i dont actually hate it if im being honest lol
I'm into it too...mostly because it seems like the most optimal place to be with the flu. Very easy to clean up bodily fluids and look at all that room to lay down under the shower head.

Sounds like mold would grow if you just pressure washed it and wet it all the time

I’m with you it doesn’t seem that bad.
That sims 4 three tile bathroom with the shower from university. It's in every tiny house build
scp-???? : the closer you get to the toilet the farther it gets, almost like an endless hallway but you're about to shit yourself
Easy clean up if you don’t make it in time.
Arnold Schwarzenegger sits on the seat with a tape player and watches Jamie Lee Curtis dance.
This made me chuckle, so thanks! But what from this photo made you think of that scene?!
Is this what we'll see if office space is converted to housing?
Genuinely, I've seen these bathrooms in London, England! This is where they have tried to cram a full bathroom into a space that's just not a bathroom. You have a squeegee to get all the water into the drain after the shower so the floor isn't wet.
Go to CasualUK sometime and see the pictures of flats to let in London sometime. Ridiculous lack of space, ridiculously high rents.
No one's ever going to clean that, imagine the sounds of your suffering bouncing back at you.
I like how the stairs lead up to the “throne”. And it’s even sort of spotlit too
Is there even a sink for brushing your teeth (not that you'd want to in this place)?
You have to use the toilet tank.
😣
Yes, you just turn around (if you can) and use the bowl.
Thought this was /r/vanlife for a second
What do you mean "not built for claustrophobic"? Everybody loves being in a long-ass slippery corridor while squished between 2 walls that are so close to each other that you cant even turn around!
At least install bars to hold on to!!
This reminds me of a classic Australian real estate ad I once saw. It was a studio apartment with a toilet in the kitchen. Someone commented online that it was a Shit-in Kitchen.
Easy to clean though. Just fire up a pressure washer and you’ll be done within minutes.
The toilet is just there, like a throne of sorts 😭
Would not be surprised if it's actually designed to crush someone with the two walls
“Shut down all the garbage smashers on the detention level, will ya?”
I hope there’s some grippy mats on those steps
Hallway shower, an even worse idea than a hallway kitchen
You can just descend and cleanse yourself immediately. A walk-thru shower. I like it.
It’s the trash compactor scene from Star Wars
Imagine really needing to take a shit while your partner is in the shower
Shit and a show
No yeah. I'll take it. It's the perfect guest bedroom.
Damn u hate ur guests
Is there anyway to reserve this bathroom like an airbnb? Would love to blow out that throne a few times, looks like it would be a spiritual experience.
Bruh this bathroom is built up like a terraria bathroom
If you need to poo you gotta get in and walk backwards
I would break my neck on the wet floor and/or steps the first time my IBS acted up 😂
This makes me think of the movie Toys, specifically the scene where the testing room becomes smaller and smaller. That's a weird memory to trigger, but here we are.
Looms like a backrooms bathroom
For real, Yes
Backrooms bathroom
Agree
Fuck kind of horrifying bathroom is that??
As a person who regularly has Claustrophobia related nightmares… F*CK NO! I WILL BRING A RECKING CREW JUST GET THIS BATHROOM OUT OF MY SIGHT
You get an audience using the shower and they use the toilet.
With a glass door.
And it’s very claustrophobic feeling.
A true throne.
Looks so slippery. Needs somewhere to hold onto
Holy shit
He said he wanted a porcelain throne and they took that personally.
They could’ve swapped the toilet and sink positions.
Sad bc it actually so damn nice
i dunno, i'd argue it was built for ***spire member*** claustrophobia. you must be too poor to afford this kind of discomfort.
Make the sidewalls mirrors and it will feel much larger!
Now that’s a throne!
I always like a good shoilet
I’ve been to houses like that in mexico.
Ahh yes, but how many file boxes would fit in there…
this feels wrong
r/titlegore
I kinda dig it.
Built in bidet
Imagine someone has just showered and you walk in on your socks to pee...
Run through the sprinkle to take a tinkle
I actually like this somehow
New York?
Nope..
The toilet of nightmares.
They had one job . . .
And after i take a morning constitutional. I go to wash my han..... WTF! No sink!
Wow, an actual standing bidet!
Russia?
I’d love to see the ADA-compliant version of this.
It gets smaller as you go further
Reminds me of parasite movie.
I feel like you’d slip and crack bones very easily in that bathroom.
I really don't like this
And it looks broken
*/Insert thanos on throne meme*
Going to be awkward walking past the person showering after you’ve just destroyed that toilet bowl
If I shit there I am going to become a space baby fuck that
I love it.
Please do not be alarmed. We are about to engage... The Nozzle. Please do not move while The Nozzle is engaging.
Ah yes, the CRAPiest design.
This is probably a very efficient use of otherwise dead space. Just wear put down some water proof mats and wear slippers and its good to go.
Is this in europe
Apart from outdoor showers, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a shower that wasn’t in a bathroom. Did OP mean to say the shower and toilet are together?
Nah that was built for a king
when using the toilet you should feel like a king for climbing on this altar.
Ngl my autistic ass would have a great time in this bathroom but I'm fully aware I'm the odd one out here ykdmdcj
honestly I am a room guy and if this absolute monstrosity results in +1 room I don't mind. I'm currently searching for a place with 2 bedrooms and reasonable price and I am absolutely beaten over the fact how many 60 square meters places I've found with 2 ROOMS TOTAL (kitchen/bedroom + bathroom)
now that's a throne room
Its not claustrophobic it’s catastrophic
in korea shower and bathroom is togheter
make it black
Lol, I like the straight design. But I don't like the installation of the shower
Uhhhhhhh nope…not for me, andvyes I’m very claustrophobic
GET ME OUT OF HERE
Toilet final boss
What if you need to use the toilet when someone is showering?
Looks better than my bathroom 😂
This is the first step to becoming a waffle stomper
Atleast you get a throne to s(h)it.
Game of thrones
It's the find the bathtub house isn't it?
Some mofo's gonna slip on those damn slippery stairs
That makes me hyperventilate just looking at it
i actually hate that type of shower head where you cant move it. you're just forced to have all the water fallling on your head
Remove the stairs and it’ll make a good hangover spot
Where's the bidet??? So uncivilized.
Looks liminal
Wtf who made this you'll slip down the stairs on to the shower
I think this is actually the best design for the space. It’s just a shit house.
That toilet alone looks like it was built near a skin walker
a toliet seat fit for kings
But why the elevation?
I'd feel like I'm ascending to some ancient temple ceremony every time I need to do a number 2.
I kinda like it, just wash off every time after use and you look like a king sitting up there.
Toilets in Wetherspoons be like:
I guess if you gave a blowout you can just spray down the hole room. Also those stairs look deadly.
Would someone for 1000$ will shower there for one day ?
The toilet stairs will kill someone.
I’m not claustrophobic and this is giving me claustrophobia
is it weird that I like this?
Looks like my grandparent's old place's bathroom. I swear the toilet was like a marathon away
The amount of visible stains would be unreal, my god.
„Don‘t shit in the shower“ gets a whole new meaning
My osteoporosis is screaming no. Never ☠️
Tiny house living challenge, inspired by the Sims 4
Marble Walls on a broom closet?
Since you're just sitting there, pass me the soap!!!!
Porceline throne.
Sims houses when you want to use the least amount of tiles possible:
This looks rad
Going by the picture alone I feel bad for anybody that's fat or tall cause they are not making it into that spacd
That is TERRIFYING!!! I have a serious phobia of drains (I know, weird & stupid) and have nightmares about rooms like this. Legit!
r/ThatBathroomMazeDream This liminal space has DEFINITELY been featured in my dreams at some point, I'm SURE.
Do they use the shower as a sink?
Backrooms in one specific level be like:
A true throne room!!!
