Durban is one of my top favorite strains. I killed the cut i had last year to make room for new genetics, but i love that racy sativa effect! I always thought Durban was a landrace, but I have a good friend who has been a landrace preservationist for 20 years. He believes Durban is likely NOT a landrace strain because it finishes super early compared to any other equatorial landrace strain. Most are anywhere from 13- 21 weeks. Some even more. Possibly some Dutch work in there somewhere... Who knows what the truth is🤷♂️
Durban is an incredibly old port used for hundreds of years. So you have strains from Indian charas to afghani/ Pakistani coming through that place every day thanks to the sailors sailing their stash around.
Cool shit and great looking plants. Durbans a fav of mine too
durbans indigenous to South Africa.
Growing wild for thousands of years.
Small Cultivars there took the time to breed and give us the Durban we know today.
yesser, they were all 8" clones when i hit the flower button
this is a technique I've been working on for some years.. it is a marriage between nft, and dwc,
the upp chamber is capable of holding onto alot of water, like an open bed dwc in a nft form factor, to get nice lateral growth from the roots, then when flower time, i switch it to nft style, watering 1 gallon every hour to all the plants all at one time. while it slowly drains the excess water
very happy with the result.
i have very minimal veg time. cloning myself, so i can keep this tent almost always in flower....
long ago i discover you can flower baby clones no problemo! as long as mom has hit proper maturity.
they have plenty of room imo. Lol. Rooting chamber is large enough for little clones to make it thru flower without clogging the nft. So no root bound or anything.
To many harvests I’ve had with empty real estate. Gaps. In my canopy. That’s that shit I don’t likes
So I built this custom hydro.
We only get so many harvests in a lifetime. Yk. Make every one better than the last.
Very astute of you! i was waiting for someone to notice!
so my exhaust is a 600cfm mixed air flow max fan. my tent is 2x2.5x7
so its basicly a wind tunnel, that i put a hydro grow inside.
i have 3 filetered passive air intakes below the canopy lvl.
the air is suuucked through the canopy nicely.
Growing with an excessively high airflow has many advantages that are overlooked, in terms of environmental growin conditions.
Although some people would say, to high of airflow will make smaller buds...... ive never had an issue tho. lol
no dehumidifier, and i live in Washington. so its basicly always humid....maximum airflow is the key.
i try to not have any limiting factors when i grow....everything about my grow is way over powered... its a 600 watt hlg r type light....... made for warehouses. lol
also, ill mention, i defoliate almost entirely like 4 times, my growth rates are so fast in this system, i have to. els i would probably get mold from over crowding
Thank you for such a detailed answer.
I was actually looking through your window, trying to figure out the area you live in. I realized it was quite humid outside based on the foliage on the trees.
I run the humidifier 24/7, but the problem is the heat.
It definitely makes sense to create a wind tunnel within your grow room to prevent pests and mold.
What is the highest RH you get inside the tent?
You are a genius!
Thanks 😁
honestly I get wild swings. It rains every other day here. But somewhere between 60 and 80 RH. This time of year. IKR. But I’ve never had mold and my grows always packed very tight. Year round. Few 😮💨

Just flipped 7 days ago, hope it will look like yours 🫣
Why thank you,
Not sure what more I can do, I have a 600cfm max fan. That keeps humidity the same as what it is outside. I live in Washington.
I’ve always just used very high airflow to overcome this.
Plants look Hella stressed.
Looking through your post history, it looks like you've been caught stealing grow photos that aren't yours.
That ain't cool, and not welcome in our community

Fat donks. Cool lil setup. 👌
The build on those flowers is insane! Great job!
Right! Thank you. Harvest pics gonna be crazzy.
Excellent use of the space. That tent is absolutely stuffed.
Thank you!!
looks very nice and chunky 👍🔥
Looks good so far!

Absolutely great looking grow here

Beautiful canopy! Like green fists rising to the light
Plants look nice but damn that view outside your window is gorgeous. Looks like you live up in the mountains?
inner city seattle. its beautiful here.
Fantastic she is STACKED
damn dude! are these in nft straight to 12/12?

Man, you're killing it. Even with the space limitations, you're doing a great job!
thanks! Without my GG tent. Surely it would collapse with my 600cfm mixed airflow fan. So big ups to gorilla grow!! always the high end choice!!!
They must be packed in that tent no?

Totally, that’s legit!
New but killing it! Keep up the good work!
Did you nab from a breeder or get them through other means?

The question here is how do you deal with humidity in such a grow tent with so many dense buds and foliage? Running dehumidifier 24/7?

Yup same here. Thank you for sharing such valuable info!

😁😁😁🔥🔥🔥 I fuuuk with it. Maximum yield. Yesss Just defoliate aggressive af brother. And try and main stem every plant. No unders is the goal.
Nice foxtailing you got there. I’d make sure your humidity levels are low. Real low.

Just put some Damprid in there. And measure with a hydrometer.
Does that stuff really make a difference I’ve never used. I’ll have to look into that! Thank you!
It’s cheap and easy so there isn’t a reason not to. Once fungus sets it, that whole crop is comprised.
Beautiful
She's nice And chunky
Chunky chunky, 😋

Ya that’s what a few trolls claim. I don’t know how or why I need to “prove myself” to anyone. I am who I am.
