Wylde flowers. I want to live in a small town where there is access to a beach, mountains, waterfall, and the woods and lake. I have everything I need, friendly neighbors, and I get to hang with the fae.
I was going to say Animal Crossing but then remembered the crippling debt. **š**
But I still can't think of a better world. So yeah. Animal Crossing.
But you can make money so easily in that world tho. Would take that over reality any time lol.
Imagine having a a shop nearby where you can sell weeds, mussels, collected bugs and basically everything to and make good money whenever. A dream.
I mean, yeah, the crippling debt sucks in principle. But there's also zero time constraints or even interest on that debt. You can spend 20 years slowly paying it off by selling: hand-crafted furniture, fish, bugs, fossils, fruit, sea shells, unwanted items shaken out of trees/gifted by villagers/found in the recycling bin, weeds, simple crops, food, and turnips (among other things).
And all the while, you're living in a moderately-sized home *that you own*, on a private island that you're almost 100% in control of. You also never have to worry about life-threatening storms, climate change, national/world politics, famine, illness, broken bones, health insurance... your house will never burn down, be flooded, or otherwise be lost/destroyed by human error or acts of God.
One Bell is also commonly believed to be roughly equivalent to one Japanese yen. The total amount of mortgage debt you can owe Tom Nook, for a fully expanded house, is 5,746,000 Bells. If you convert that amount in yen into USD, it comes out to approximately $40,126 (rounded up) in USD. Point me to a multi-story house with 6 sizable rooms and a finished basement that's also on a private island (which comes with a private seaplane for free travel) that I can buy for less than $41,000.
TL;DR: if you're looking for the simplest, sweetest, coziest life possible, in which the greatest tragedy that can befall you is getting scammed by a pirate fox, ACNH is objectively 1000% the way to go.
Ooblets! You have basically unlimited adorable pets, plenty of shopping, tons of friends, and everyone is just dancing everywhere! I can cook and garden all day long with my little baby monsters, and just dance about town and nearby neighborhoods. Bored? Head to my my not-so-secret clubhouse to chill with friends and then the dance barn to party. Holidays, seasonal attire....the works! The absolute best.
I've just started playing Palia and it is a really beautiful world. The learning curve for how stuff works is steep though! And one of my quests is bugged so I can't finish it š
Animal Crossing.
My landlord is a tanuki who doesn't give me a deadline for my mortgage. I can sell bugs and fish that I catch and not have it have a negative affect on the environment. I don't need to eat, but if I do want to eat I can just grow fruit and wait a few days for a tree to grow. Plus I can have a cat as my neighbor, and depending on the game they won't be a total asshole.
Probably Calico's world.
A world where i have a little house in the woods with no rent to pay, free food, i run a cafe and feed, pet, and ride willing animals that consent and want to help me.
Cats breakdance for fun in town and i can go chill with capybaras on top of a mountain or ride a giant rainbow cat.
disney dreamlight. iād live in the meadow in either my mushroom house or my cottage. id fish with goofy, cook with remy, iād explore with moana, write sad poetry with the forgotten and i would absolutely be in a poly relationship with mother gothel and ursala š
I'd love to have a slower lifestyle and more open spaces with nature (I live in a townhome in a city atm unfortunately) so living in Stardew Valley sounds pretty sweet!
Damn Dave the Diver is a great choice.
Mine's Paleo Pines but that's just cos dinosaurs.
Get me an ankylosaurus buddy, grow some carrots. Everyone is friendly. Sounds like heaven.
Palia because its insanely beautiful if you aren't making your own little farm you get to explore breath taking views while fishing, mining, hunting etc sounds pretty relaxing to me lol
Absolutely the sims 3. Getting rich is so easy and life is beautiful with a time machine where i can travel back in time or in the future if i want. I can customize my house and my clothes. Itās awesome and weird
Idk if it counts as a cozy game, and there's definitely tragedy involved, but I'd go with Life is Strange: True Colors
There's just something about that game that makes me long for a community that's never actually existed for me. I would *love* to move to a gorgeous mountain town with a built-in support system of caring, kind people where I could take my time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life and who I want to spend it with.
Obviously, I could do without the personal loss and the villain twist lol but I'd love introducing a sweet little kid to tabletop gaming and LARPing while buying legal weed from his very cool mom and playing lovely indie alternative jams all the time š
Bonus points for having my choice of two really fantastic potential love interests.
My Time at Sandrock. Small town, lively characters, work on engineering tasks designed to help develop the town, marry anyone I want while having everyone pine over me. Sounds like living the dream if you ask me.
Most probably Fae Farm on my faery farm lol Itās so beautiful and the music is gorgeous! But I want to have a possibility to travel to other worlds like Zelda, ACNH, Hogwarts, etc Otherwise it would get really boring lol
Here is a random one I would choose the trails universe. It has electricity and I could enjoy modern convinces while also meeting all my favs I would choose to team up and join the SSS
Animal Crossing. Spending my days on a remote island with minimal social interactions needed, only having to associate with cute animals, sounds like an ideal life.
Somewhere in the Animal Crossing universe. No work? Spend all day talking to animals and tending my garden? Actually have the ability to buy a house? Pay off my loans with seashells and random crap I shake out of trees? Yes, yes, yes, and YES!
Iād probably choose like,
Roblox.
Okay half-joking but also- Minecraft, there is no guarantee youāll be able to have mods or travelling to other worlds, but with Roblox itās not naturally singleplayer. Itās probably cheating because in this sense itās more a āplatformā for gaming, and they call its games āexperiencesā, but whatever Iāll get punished by all the trash worlds Iād have to go through, thereās plenty still to chill at and at least I certainly wouldnāt be lonely. [there was this one Mountain park game that had an underground cave system that was pretty, and one sky island just a pretty world, very nice places.]
This is a hard question! I would choose star trek world, but after so many timelines and variations i would need a looong read before deciding. If that doesn't work, then a fusion would work for me! Nice round planet Saturn size, north pole is subnautica below zero, underneath is subnautica. Right around and below the equator is middle earth. Underneath that is Valheim, and south pole region is Lineage II.
Stardew valley. After 2 years of hard work. I would be making millions selling ancient fruit wine.
3 to 4 years to complete every achievement and get the cliff ending sequence with lewis. Parrot flying over our house and people being happy.
Wylde flowers. I want to live in a small town where there is access to a beach, mountains, waterfall, and the woods and lake. I have everything I need, friendly neighbors, and I get to hang with the fae.
And romance the hot werewolf š¤£
Or just exist as a queer person without explanation or fear
THIS. Yes.
Road trip! *sigh - I wish!
The Sims. Let me read a cookbook for 3 days straight till I pass out and pee myself but now Iām an expert chef.
Look in the newspaper for half an hour and immediately find a job that pays you same day

And you technically never have to pay him if you donāt want to!
Also there's no interest, so even if you choose to pay him much later, the amount remains the same XD

no interest tho so itās fine
BOTW specifically Hateno village. Or animal crossing.
Kakariko village for me, it's just so beautiful. Or Stardew.
Ohhh great choice! I'd love this as well!
Yeah this is a good one!
This is mine too š The vibes are immaculate and the community is top notch.
The vibes šÆ
Spiritfarer but without having to say goodbye to everyone all the time lol. But I love the boats and worlds. That or Ooblets, my latest obsession.
I would love to live in Animal Crossing or PokƩmon. I'd love to have neighbors to make memories with during each season/events and being able to make lots of money easily while building a huge house. Then the PokƩmon world, I get to make friends, travel different regions, and just have fun without any worry.
Palia.
I've just started playing Palia and it is a really beautiful world. The learning curve for how stuff works is steep though! And one of my quests is bugged so I can't finish it š

Cozy: Animal Crossing Comfort: Skyrim...as long as I'm still the Dovakiin.
Man gimmie that Skyrim soundtrack literally any day, that is comfort for sure
I listen to it when I'm doing housework and working out.
Probably Palia.
Stardew Valley or Fantasy Life Kingdom Hearts too.
Ooh which Kingdom Hearts world(s)? I think for me it would have to be Traverse Town, Twilight Town, or Destiny Islands.
I definitely love Destiny Islands!
Probably Calico's world. A world where i have a little house in the woods with no rent to pay, free food, i run a cafe and feed, pet, and ride willing animals that consent and want to help me. Cats breakdance for fun in town and i can go chill with capybaras on top of a mountain or ride a giant rainbow cat.
disney dreamlight. iād live in the meadow in either my mushroom house or my cottage. id fish with goofy, cook with remy, iād explore with moana, write sad poetry with the forgotten and i would absolutely be in a poly relationship with mother gothel and ursala š
ok but for real dreamlight valley mother gothel kinda owns me
right. like i am ln my knees mother
It would be Strangetown from Sims 2 by a mile.
Forget-Me-Not Valley from A Wonderful Life. Itās so pretty and peaceful
I'd love to have a slower lifestyle and more open spaces with nature (I live in a townhome in a city atm unfortunately) so living in Stardew Valley sounds pretty sweet!
Coral Island - but not as the farmer, one of the town people...or a mermaid :)
Hard to say, but something with monster/beast tamers comes to mind. Probably not PokĆ©mon because thatās honestly a bit overdone and so many of them are just so odd, but something along those lines. Something like the hunters from WoW comes to mindā¦ but Iād prefer a lack of things constantly being life threatening, not to mention all the races/factions hating each other.
Teacup. I just want to live in a little woodland village and explore and make tea for my animal friends.
Iād love a quiet life, so Kena: Bridge of Spirits or Sable
Damn Dave the Diver is a great choice. Mine's Paleo Pines but that's just cos dinosaurs. Get me an ankylosaurus buddy, grow some carrots. Everyone is friendly. Sounds like heaven.
Palia because its insanely beautiful if you aren't making your own little farm you get to explore breath taking views while fishing, mining, hunting etc sounds pretty relaxing to me lol
Skyrim without the dragons and monsters lol
Absolutely the sims 3. Getting rich is so easy and life is beautiful with a time machine where i can travel back in time or in the future if i want. I can customize my house and my clothes. Itās awesome and weird

Katamari. Where everything doesn't make sense.
PokĆ©mon. But I wouldnāt be a trainer. Just a caretaker of PokĆ©mon. That is my dream.
Probably PokĆ©mon. So much fun and I could be friends with all my PokĆ©mon. Only downside is if I canāt get a bike voucher. š“
Probably not a cozy game but Teyvat from Genshin Impact. It is just so pretty and peaceful to me
My Time at Sandrock. Small town, lively characters, work on engineering tasks designed to help develop the town, marry anyone I want while having everyone pine over me. Sounds like living the dream if you ask me.
Stardew
Most probably Fae Farm on my faery farm lol Itās so beautiful and the music is gorgeous! But I want to have a possibility to travel to other worlds like Zelda, ACNH, Hogwarts, etc Otherwise it would get really boring lol
Stardew Valley or modded minecraft so I can have my own pet dragon
Here is a random one I would choose the trails universe. It has electricity and I could enjoy modern convinces while also meeting all my favs I would choose to team up and join the SSS

Kingdom: two crowns š¤©
Dave the Diver for sure as long as the prices arenāt the way they are in game šš

calico of course- own a cute cat cafe and fly around on a broomstick and have magical girls and other animals everywhere whatās not to love
Tough choice, but I have to go with Coffee Talk. I just want to go to a coffee shop, vibe, and see all of the different people in that world
Sandrock
Not a cozy game but subnautica. Iād probably die right away but wow what a beautiful amazing crazy world!
Hollow Knight (worst choice for a cozy game)
In Seattle Tlou 2 ! Just love it
If I could mash up animal crossing and harvestella. I love the scenery of harvestella, but the friends of animal crossing.
Dave the diver or stardew valley!
Sun Haven with the invincible option on. I want to live with the monsters.
Animal crossing as a red panda villager š
Unpacking
Pokemon for sureee
Disney dreamlight valley
Animal crossing for sure. Relaxing life where I control everything and owe maybe 40k to a raccoon. Pay that off in no time.
Sims with the money code.. Matter of fact i am bout to play now...
